Pros: Pretty nice multimeter. I don't own anything fancy, like a Fluke, but it was in improvement to another cheap multi purchased here in the States. The rubber case is a nice touch and the back light is definitely handy. I only use this for testing my Lithium Ion batteries. I admit to not knowing much about multis, but it works for my purpose.
Cons: The first one I received has a cracked stand, but DX was sure to get a brand new one out to me really fast. The replacement even had a better stand design.
Bottomline: For the price, you can't go wrong. I can't comment about its other functionality, but for testing batteries, this works great. It's cheap and effective.
The only advantage of this meter is a backlight

Pros: This is a basic multimeter but has the very handy addition of a backlit display , very useful in poor light, or trying to find a power problem in torchlight.Good value for the money but there are better meters on DE for the same price unless you particularly need backlighting on the display. Display is good and clear in all light conditions
Cons: Meter is smaller than standard hence a little more fiddly to use than the larger meters. Build quality of the leads is poor but the meter itself is well made.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: If you need a backlit display then this is for you. If you don't then SKU 00619 is a better meter for the same price

Pros: -Accurate readings.
-Easy to use.
-Backlight is a very nice feature.
-Good size.
-Very nice price.
Cons: -Build quality feels a bit cheap, but still very good.
-Included leads aren't great. I recommend SKU 6504 to go along with it.
Other Thoughts: The multimeter I received has different colouring and is branded as a Xiole XL830L instead of a Mastech MAS830L, but it is the same product.
Bottomline: Very good multimeter for a nice price. Probably the best deal on DX for such a product. Very useful for all sorts of things, like checking batteries, testing circuits, checking voltages from a computer PSU, etc.

Pros: - Looks solid
- worked great (till it broke)
- able to lid it up in the dark
Cons: - broke after a week
- shipping took a while ,one thing in my order is still not in stock but not really related

Bottomline: looked like a sweet deal but is now broken after a few months , it started with being 2 volts off the real voltage and today it stopped working as a whole only gives the start zero's
