Pros: - Price of course.- Large adjustment valve (Read below)- Large fuel holder- Nice flame cover with long sturdy chord. - Seemed to be pretty strong when i got it to work.
Cons: - The build quality on this is very poor.- I have had many problems with this. I received three of these. Each one did not work. - This lighter also had a problem igniting and on my seccond one it would extinguish gas out of the bottom getting all over the place. Not very safe. - I am pretty upset about this lighter but it was only 3 dollars so I will take a loss here I guess. - DX Shipping times but that's to be expected.
Other Thoughts: Hmmm, Allot of headaches I'd say. Wasted my butane fluid.
Bottomline: Purchased these originally for the intend to use with cigars. This is not a good buy and there are other better choices on DX for a jet-flame torch lighter. Buyer beware. Not DX's fault of course. I guess I took the DX gamble and lost.
Pros: - Strong flame- Solid build, isn't loose anywhere.- Ignites on first click 99% of the time- Good size- Flame can be left on, doesn't hurt thumb- Easy to adjust with screwdriver or knife
Cons: - Cap is flimsy, I removed it anyway (To fit it snug it just needs an O-Ring- Missing bottom adjuster (Easy to adjust, it just can't stand)
Other Thoughts: - It came with a slight defect in the clear plastic but it's purely aesthetic, no problems with cracking or leaking.- Came empty but I have butane so no problem there.
Bottomline: Cheap, reliable, hot, and solid.Buy a couple and gift them, great present for friends.
Pros: -Large flame-Transparant bottom, so you can see it fill-cap, with chain-good button-good build quality-Does not heat up-very nice price
Cons: -the switch for handsfree burning switches on sometimes, which is annoying-mine didnt came with the plastic adjuster on the button, the reviewer under me had the same problem-Only head is made from iron-the part where the butane is in, is made from plastic-Hard to adjust fleme without the adjuster part.-Cant be mod into a flamethrower
Other Thoughts: Pretty nice lighter!
Bottomline: Buy it, the price is incredible, but there are a lot of different lighters that look a lot like this on.
Pros: Good, steady flame. Lights every time once adjusted correctly (see cons) Mine came in black which is great! Cap fits well. Chain is long enough so you can hold the cap as well so it won't get in the way.
Cons: Mine is missing the bottom plastic round adjuster part! Can only adjust the flame with a screw driver. It cant stand either because of the missing part...
Other Thoughts: If you need more freedom in adjusting the flame, (high altitude and such) just remove the round end cap from the brass adjuster nob.
Bottomline: Great little lighter, looks like it will last a while. DX's quality control could be a little better...
