Pros: With USB host port, the backup is very easy. Just plug card reader in, select copy and wait. Good copy speed (depend on speed of card). Friendly user interface. I got a Digimate III before and this one UI is much better. Battery enough to copy my 4GB CF to HDD about 8-10 times with single charges and few days standby.
Cons: Need to carry another card reader all the time in order to backup my photos. Need to shutdown first to ensure the hdd is stop. Built in battery, what will i do when the battery worn out?
Other Thoughts: Looking for an OTG hdd case for long time to backup my photos on vacation trips. Fist, i look up for case with built in card reader, however, after a while i found that the one with USB host could be better, because the last one with built in card reader i got need to be power up even when use as card reader for computer. Keep in mind that this case is only support IDE hard disk, so if you have SATA version, then better look for another case.
Bottomline: A good OTG HDD case for seasonal photographers.
