Pros: tested in a 20°C evironment, no fan's are used
- good heatsink, only after long operation the heatsink is around 24~31°C
- some components on the cicuit board are around 32~41°C at 5,13V input.
- the 3 wires are probably TTL, one for red module, green module and the ground. we need english datasheet to confirm that, but i can read on www.newwishlaser.com that the circuit board contains TTL 0-10K
- laser output around 90~100mw (pot adjusted)
Cons: not a top quality lens
Other Thoughts: fast shipping!
Bottomline: very good deal!
Pretty good

Pros: - Nice solid heatsink.
- Power is good, I measured it to 102 mW with my LPM.
- Circuit board can power both red and green laser and has blanking control for both.
- Beam is well collimated and focus can be easily set using a spanner wrench.
Cons: - Some soldering details ain't made very good, blanking wire was partielly loose, components soldered on crooked etc
- The heatsink had some sharp edges and some burr.
Other Thoughts: I was suprised that the unit was so small when I received it.
Came well packaged in bubblewrap inside a bag of standard dx red bubblewrap.
Bottomline: Great red laser for cheap
Great Little laser module !

Pros: First of all, get some safety goggles, this baby is bright !!!
I've found them cheaper on a well known auction site.
This laser burns very well, although you may need to carefully adjust the lens by carefully turning it using a suitable sized flat headed screwdriver, and then you can easily find the focal length by blowing some smoke into the beam, and then looking where it is most narrow, i adjusted mine for a focal length of about 12 inches, and it burns very well !
I have no way of measuring the power, although mine had a QC sticker on the heatsink which said 270 ma 113mw, so this could well be true !
Seems a tough little laser, i run mine from a regulated 5v supply with the pot maxd out, and it runs for hours with the heatsink just adbove ambient, but please remember to wear those goggles, or else the only thing you will be burning is your retina's !!!
Cons: None i can think of, the heatsink had a small dent in it, but no big deal !!
Other Thoughts: No real practical use , but just good fun if you are into gadgets !!!
Bottomline: Buy it, for £15-00 you cant go wrong, but please use it carefully !
Good red for the price

Pros: This laser is very cheap for the power, it has a massive heatsink and a good driver that could power up a green at the same time (not tested). This laser will burn if focused with a lens, comparing it to my other red high powered i'd say it's quite around 100mw.
Cons: It's not portable but you don't buy this kind of laser (heatsink and big driver) to be portable anyway, so it's really a cons.
Other Thoughts: I power mine with 5 volts from an old pc power supply, works great.
There's a pot on the driver, may be possible to get more power (AT YOUR OWN RISKS, could blow up).
Bottomline: Very nice laser for the price, for fun or laser show, heatsink is necessary for long time runs (like in lasershows), i never felt it get warm.
