Pros: Low price, build quality and finish is ok.
Cons: It won't fit MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail. The spacing of the screws is too narrow.
Other Thoughts: I bought this based on TenRing's review but am sorry I did. I got the mount today and attempted to mount it to a MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail only to discover that the spacing of the screws is not wide enough to clear the rail slots. As a result, I am only able to secure one screw.
Bottomline: I would not recommend this mount for anyone who intends to mount a light to a MILSPEC rail.

Pros: Low price. Works if you need a light mount and dont have much money to spend.
Cons: poor finish, locking bolt isn't true and will dig in to the metal or plastic on your rail. Limited adjustability, and low retention of the light.
Other Thoughts: It would be okay for airsoft or paintball but I wouldn't put this on my defense rifles or shotguns
Bottomline: works if you need one, otherwise I hope DX can get in some nice ones as an alternative. A couple bucks more could put a really nice light mount on this website. There are some nice mounts out there for ~$15 that are 10 times better than this one.
Great mount for 1"/2.5cm lights.

Pros: Price, of course.
Solid build.
Everything locks up very well on a MIL-STD-1913 picatinny rail.
Cons: -Very limited clamping distance/adjustment. If the light or object in the mount is not pretty much exactly 1"/2.5cm, you'll have to use spacers. The strip of metal that clamps down only goes about 1mm into the inner diameter of the mount.
-The clamping surface is only the middle portion, as seen in the pictures. That means the friction bearing surface is only the 12mm in the middle of the mount.
Other Thoughts: THE MEASUREMENTS IN THE PICTURE ARE WRONG/CONFUSING:
The inner diameter of the mount is 1 inch, or 2.5 cm. The outer diameter is 2.8cm. The dimensions of the mounting surface are the same for any standard picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 rail.
The cross screws span 4 slots of the rail.
This is the same mount as in sku.976, the flashlight/gun mount bundle. See more pictures of this mount there.
To put my Streamlight Scorpion in this mount, I had to make spacers out of three layers of a plastic soda bottle.
Bottomline: Got a 1"/2.5cm light? Want to mount it on a picatinny rail?
Get this.
