Excellent R4 alternative

Pros: -Cheap, and I mean cheap.
$25 for a 1gb kingston memory stick + a great R4 alternative cartridge
-interesting menus (inclusion of pictures)
-works great ( as good as my R4s and CycloDS)


Cons: -Website is sort of slow to download firmware from
-Updates aren't as quick as R4s and CycloDS updates
-Memory stick protrudes out a bit


Other Thoughts: The cons are very minor issues considering there are alternate servers and it's not necessary to be able to play the game 1-3 days early.


Bottomline: Overall, this is quite good for the price considering it works fantastically. Well, I think I've emphasized enough on the cheap price, no?

Pros: This flashcart )or flashcard, whatever) is the first I bought, and I'm glad I got this one! I saw the price, and I knew I just had to get this one! (although it was like 6 dollars cheaper when I got it like a month ago). It plays every ROM I put on it, including, but obviously not limited to, Mario Kart DS, Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Range, New Super Mario Bros., Final Fantasy III, Japanese Pokemon Ranger. it also runs some great homebrew apps, such as DSOrganise, Moonshell, NDS WiFi Backup Tool (to backup gamesaves from original carts), and the simple-but-fun Pocket Physics! Also, it's wifi-compatible, so you can race people online with Mario Kart, etc... uhh... the price! Yes! The price! Very cheap.


Cons: It doesn't go into the DS as smoothly as official games do, but doesn't bother me at all... I don't know about other people though. The official menu lags a bit, but I switched to YSMenu custom firmware and that seems to have fixed that.


Other Thoughts: It should come in black, too.


Bottomline: Great for the price. You should get it if you want to listen to music, play games, etc. I haven't tried watching videos on it because the hinge on my DS is broken and the screen flashes black sometimes..

Pros: -Great price!
-Great build quality!
-Great software!
-Cheat modus!
-supports download mode!
-supports wifi !
-Softreset!
-Fast loading of games!
-Nice skins.
-supports DSorganize (PDA program)
-The 1GB microSD : min. 15 games !
-Fast USB-reader + good quality!
-Same size like a normal ds card.


Cons: -You have to download the software from the internet.


Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: -This card makes me so happy !!!!!!!!
-This card is a must haven for your Nintendo DS!!!!!!
-I think its better than all the other flashcards !.......

Pros: This card is very easy to use. Once the menu files (available on the DSTT website) are added to the flash card, it's pretty much ready to go; ready to be loaded with your favorite games and homebrew software. The fact that it does DLDI autopatching is a definite plus, it makes adding homebrew software and emulators very easy and hassle free.


Cons: While the build quality seems to be okay, this card doesn't seem to fit as well into the DS as commercial games do.
As well, the menu system isn't the best. It seems pretty fast to me, but the lack of folder support really holds it back.


Other Thoughts: I'm not really sure how this compares to the other cards available, but I'm pretty pleased with this one.
I haven't really had a need for the included USB MicroSD card reader yet, but from what I can tell it works as it should.


Bottomline: Overall, I'm impressed by this card. I highly recommend it.
