Pros: - I bought two of these and they both worked perfectly- Comes with a connector covers on both the USB end (the one at the USB end even comes with a cable management dealie) and the iPhone end- Finish looks very similar to my original cable...plugs very smooth, logos accurate. only on this cable, the logos are a darker grey compared to the light grey on the original- Slides very easily into computer and iPhone- Cable feels smooth, flexible and sufficiently thick
Cons: - I didn't think there were any cons until I saw SKU.19148 for a dollar less :P
Other Thoughts: - mine didn't come with release buttons at the sideplastic of one of the plugs. no big deal.- i think 1.2 meters is plenty- didn't notice any transfer/speed lag. no real noticeable difference performance wise with the original Apple cable
Bottomline: I'm now using this as my main cable with my original as backup and very happy with it.
Pros: Came boxed (good surprise) - Both the USB and iPhone Connectors came in package with plastic covers for protection.Wire clip included (on USB cover) when winding the cable when all length is not needed (very nice).Good quality.Works without any problem with Itunes.Charges and synchronizes data to and from iPhone with no problems.Delivered within a week (excellent)!
Cons: None so far - I have been using it for about 1 month already.
Other Thoughts: Pushburrons release on iPhone side of the cable - could be considered pro and con.Length is 1.2m as stated.
Bottomline: If you need it. Buy This !Excellent product
Pros: Color is white so it matches the original cable.Locking hooks secure the plug in place.
Cons: The lock release keys could be a bit more convincing.The connector case cracks open a bit when you push the release keys - some glue might fix this?
Other Thoughts: I could do without the cardboard package and USB plug cover. I bought it for charging in the car so it does not have to be too pretty :)I guess it's not possible to damage your computer or iPhone even if there is a short in this cable so this should be a safe buy.
Bottomline: I would say this is a good buy. If it breaks before Easter then I might change my opinion :)
Pros: As described, works great with mine and my girlfriends iPhone 3G (we both got new adapters when they sent out replacements). I like how the length is longer and how there are clips on the data port so it actually locks in place. Gets the job done and a good price too.
Cons: None.
