Pros: Nice idea. Can be really nice gift for those in countries where bamboo does not grow. Nice colors. can be grown outside the bottle if you now how and take care of it.

Cons: It would be very nice to be able to choose color composition, because some combinations does not fit for boys or girls. When ordering you have to think about the transportation way, so that it does not get frozen.

Other Thoughts: I will buy next time 3 pairs, because the one i have ordered got frozen. Have in mind, that the packaging is not cold resistant so order at warmer season of the year.

Bottomline: Very nice idea. It is something like WOW (expression, not world of warcraft :D).

Pros: - inexpensive

- great gift

- cute looking keychain

- mine came in red and orange (which is a pro for me)

- requires almost absolutely no care (except for sunlight)

- no need to water it

Cons: - one was grown a bit bigger than the other but that isn't much of a con

- a bit hard to open the bag

Other Thoughts: I'm hoping it'll grow considering it was stuck in a cold mailbox for 5 hours. It also came in red bubble wrap.

Bottomline: It's a cute inexpensive gift and other plant lovers who aren't very good at growing plants should definitely buy this because it requires almost no care.

Pros: This is an extremely cool keychain! It is a nice, cheap, and unique gift that you can give to your friends during their birthday! The quality is really nice; the bottle is made out of glass and when you unscrew the top there is a cork that makes it look like a message in a bottle. I am not quite sure what the gel is and my bamboo doesn't seem like it has grown yet.

Cons: None that I can think of. I didn't get to pick my colors so I received a blue one and a pink one but that's OK I only need one blue one.

Bottomline: Buy this for your friends! Buy this for your family, buy this for yourself! It is so cheap and such a cool gift, it is inexpensive so you can buy it for everyone!

Pros: they are inexpensive and cute, you really cannot do anything with them but look at it, but it does makes a nice gift for a child
 
Cons: could not pick the colors that you want, i would rather have some type of metal key chain than the string that was attached to the lid, you really could not use it as a key chain anyhow because it would probably break.  it looks like the bottle is made out of glass
 
Other Thoughts: i wonder if the gel will ever dry up or will it last forever.
 
Bottomline: if you need a gift for a child, buy it, its cheap and cute and you get two of them. i gave one to my mother and she loved it.
