Involvement: General (knows how to use it) - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month

Price: starstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: Small, very bright
5 modes to choose from
Uses regular AA's or 14500's

Cons: buzz's on low and medium modes
does not have memory mode

Other Thoughts: I am really impressed with how bright this light is for the size. The price is nice and the 5 modes are nice to have. It has a slight buzz on low and medium modes, but not on high or sos, so not that big of deal. I started using 14500 batteries, and WOW, it's almost twice as bright, I highly suggest getting the 14500 batteries with this light.

Bottomline: Very nice light. Glad I purchased it. Very, Very, Very bright for it's size, and a very nice looking light, just feels nice in my hand. Small too, fits in my pocket. I just ordered one for my friend I like it so much.

Pros: Excellent small lamp!
Has 5 modes of illumination. Shines very strongly and brightly if to direct on eyes blinds.
Lantern light shines approximately to 20 metres, fine!
Not so expensive lantern.

Cons: On the minimum and average mode of illumination buzz is audible.
Unfortunately there is no memory of last mode.
Is small backlash at batteries in the case, it is audible, as they fight about walls.

Bottomline: For this money are the best choice!
I think of getting Extension tube, to establish 3 AA batteries.

Pros: • High mode is quite bright.
• Flexibility of using 1 or 2 AAs. Even with 1 AA, it seems only slightly dimmer than with 2 AAs when at High.
• Always turns on with Mid (not last used mode), which is fine for me. Tapping the clicky lightly goes to the next mode, so not a fuss for me since this can be performed quickly and easily.

Cons: • Heats up quickly, quite warm around the bezel head.
• Screw threads are stiff.
• Buzzing sound can be heard when using Mid and Low modes, which may be coupled with flickering at times. No such problems when in High/Strobe/SOS modes.
• Contacts may have problem at times.

Other Thoughts: • Some cleaning and re-lubricating might be necessary.
• I have yet to do any run-time test, so I will take what most reviews said about it.

Bottomline: At this price, I am pretty satisfied with its performance and the flexibility.

Pros: Very small, but very BRIGHT ! I didn't expect so much brightness o comme out this little lamp !
The outer frame is pretty thin metal, but it feels good in the hand and it's waterproof too. The weight is also just right

Cons: It is smaller than expected, but that not really a con cause you can carry it in your pocket all the time :P

Other Thoughts: I will surely buy another flashlight from DX again.

Bottomline: Very good Flashlight that can suit everyone needs :D
