Pros: I have these on all my rc batteries and esc's,I'am using well over 30 sets all of them preform well. I just bought 20 more sets as these are becomeing hard to find!!! Get them while you can. 6 dollars for 10 sets you cant go wrong!
Cons: 40 to 50 amp max which is fine for me some are hard to get apart(use a small amount dielectric grease) You have to be quick with solder iron(30 to 40 watts iron works well) and sugjest that you tin wire and plug ends first!
Other Thoughts: I use on all my applications under 60 amps...If it wasnt for these, dont know what I would use...
Bottomline: If you need quick connectors for RC batteries then get these, I did!!!
Pros: CheapUseable for low current applikations like charging if you don't want to waste a original one.
Cons: After testing the voltage drop of several samples i have noticed it's significantly higher than original connectors.Passing 4 amps different samples of the original drops between 0.3-0.5mV (millivolts). This product different samples had a drop of 2.9 to 6.2 mV.Contact elements (propably) made of brass, not copper.
Other Thoughts: Other Pros/Cons as stated in othrer reviews apply (like plastic reqireing extra care while soldering etc).
Bottomline: Ok if you know the limits of the product and can use it for something where they wont apply.
Pros: really good plugs for rc trrucks etc with high current electronics... and extremely cheap price for a lot of these plugs... cant go wrong really... comes with shrink tube as well thats a nice bonus... good deal from deal extreme as usually thanx
Cons: noticed that when soldering the plugs was a bit wiggely inside the plastic... nothing that causes any issues atleast yet... i doubt it even will.. but if a con is required thats the only one that came in my mind...
Other Thoughts: good plugs for cheap...
Bottomline: buy them
Pros: They have a very strong connection, if they come free during use you are doing something seriously wrong. Much better than using bullet or spade connectors. Smooth flat surface give a good connection area.
Cons: Little hard to part when new.Soldering tabs really need a hole to make a secure connection to wire.Heat shrink is adequate, but I prefer adhesive lined.
Other Thoughts: Best way to solder to these is to drill a hole through the soldering tab and pass the wire through it before soldering. An alternative is after tinning your wire crush it slightly, with pliers, to give a flat area to solder to.
Bottomline: Changing all my projects from bullet to these now, they are a much better alternative.
