Pros: Very nice hard gloss finish. Fit of all parts into this case was very good. No trimming was needed. Supplied screw set was a little smaller, easier to fit. Screws too replace the tri-wing types with Philips.
Cons: None found yet.
Other Thoughts: No time to think, too busy playing the DS...
Bottomline: Good deal from DX, would buy again.
Pros: The shell is Unqiue and works quite nicely at reshelling the ds itself I really loved the colors And the chrome buttons are very nice. though i wanted black i forgot and put in the chrome rofl p;) all in all once finished it wa sa great shell.
Cons: Major fit issues every step of the way i had to customize it to fit the parts.. it was a Small nightmare to put together even though this is Not my first time. because nothing fit. also lacks Any words or nintendo Serial like the others have. and lacks start/ select words has buttons but no words on shell.
Other Thoughts: It is cool to be unique but its a finger print magnet
Bottomline: After all the effort involved... I sold the ds i reshelled simply because i decided i would rather have a brand new factory ds. thinking of ordering the Dragons one from dx p:)
Pros: Nice case finish.All parts included
Cons: Volume and power switch needed slight sanding to fit. Also directional controller needed a little trimming.Stylus was a little loose in the silo, but was easily fixed by adding a little masking tape inside the silo.No instructions included.
Other Thoughts: This is not for anyone not experienced in disassembling delicate electronic equipment.Check out the net for instructions on how to change the case. I personally damaged the top lcd connector ribbon on the first try.
Bottomline: Gives a cool and unique look for your NDSL, but be very carefull when changing the cases.
Pros: Case has everything you need to fully replace your ds case, if your only doing it because of a broken hinge or to change the look there are alot of parts you wont even use. quality and fit is perfect
Cons: The silver buttons look cheesy and really if your replaceing a black case you'l be much better off using your black buttons and only replacing the shell. the volume and power buttons will stick until they are sanded down to fit properly.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Dont hesitate to buy this case, works great looks great and is fairly straight forward to replace, if you can take apart electronics and are careful about the ribbon cables on your screens you'll have a new ds in an hour or so.
