Pros: Nice size, good connectors, very simple to use, supports DMA (very important).


Cons: Have to be very careful to plug it in the right way around, since the host side connector has more pins than this thing has on its connector. Pay close attention to the labeling. In my Dell X1 notebook, it has to go face-down in the drive bay.


Other Thoughts: I am using it here to replace a 1.8" Toshiba 60GB hard disk with a modern UDMA-capable 32GB CompactFlash card in my Dell Lattitude X1 ultra-light notebook. This speeds up the machine (no more waiting for hard drive spinups or seeks), and renders it absolutely silent in use!


Bottomline: Very useful as a cheap way to roll-your-own solid state disk (SSD) from a CompactFlash card for small notebooks.
Very difficult to write 500 useful characters about something so trivial as this item.
