Pros: - Works great with a Samsung ZIF SSD drive in a Dell Latitude X1 laptop. - Small enough to pack into the space freed up in the target laptop because of the Samsung SSD being smaller than the Toshiba hard drive it replaces. - Very cheap and ok quality.
Cons: None, it works, is small and is cheap.
Other Thoughts: Not the fault of this device, but the Samsung SSD works in UDMA66 and so reverts to PIO mode when used in the Dell X1, since it only supports UDMA33 & UDMA100
Bottomline: If you need to put a zif SSD in an old laptop this is the best solution.

Pros: - The price, of course. You get the adapter and two cables (For Toshiba and, I believe, Hitachi drives) - When it works, it does exactly what it's supposed to.
Cons: - My first purchase was DOA. I thought it was a compatibility issue, but then I purchased a second adapter and that one was fine. - The cables are very fragile (not Dealextreme's fault). Because of both of these cons, I would suggest purchasing at least two of them. At this price, it's worth it.
Other Thoughts: My second purchase worked like a charm to upgrade my Gigabeat F series MP3 player 50 pin drive to a ZIF-based drive.
Bottomline: Assuming you don't get a dud, it does exactly what it's supposed to.
