Pros: Works with every game I've tested... compatibility issues are resolved fast by the active team behind the EDGE's software.Excellent build quality, feels very solid, microSD card sits perfectly flush.Menu system is simple, great, skinable.Very fast load/boot times, unlike other flashcards.
Cons: Only negative thing I can think of is that it doesn't come with a microSD card, meaning you have to buy one separately... Fortunately, they are about $5-10 for a 4GB, so it's not that big of a deal.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Overall, the best DS flashcard available right now. Best balance of price, quality, feature set, and near-perfect compatibility. EDGE may not have as many features as CycloDS, but EDGE doesn't suffer from the same glitches that CycloDS does.
Pros: I bought this product and as soon as it arrived the casing looked nice and cool. After setting up the files and everything i tried the edge and the gui is really nice and user friendly. Everything worked and now i can't stop using my edge card
Cons: After opening the case to see my edge card I noticed that the sticker was upside down but that didn't really bother me. That was about it nothing else!
Other Thoughts: wish it came in white too
Bottomline: This card is a great little device i use almost everyday now for my ds lite. Everything about this card is short and simple. It isn't as hard as i thought it would be to use.
Pros: -great price-easy to use-seems to work well with all roms I played-build is good-loads pretty quick-the wifey understands it lol:)-skins are nice to have-love the creative packaging-came out the box and was running in less than 10 minutes
Cons: -could have more features-even though menu is simple, I'd prefer complex-not really many I can think of
Other Thoughts: I love everything about this and thats why I gave all the ratings except overall a 5. Overall didn't get it because nothing is perfect and things could be improved, or added that aren't present in this card, or others for that matter. It's more than worth what you pay for it though.-first off, don't pay attention to anyone talking about the cyclo ds in comparison to this, that's idiotic and for the 60 or 80 dollars that thing cost, it better have more features. If you bought it and it didn't you'd be a fool. So what if the egde is a clone, it's a quarter of the price too (he failed to mention that though) Some people are just never content. You're paying under 20 bucks for something that will save you more than it's worth. This is a gold mine if you ask me.
Bottomline: I adore mine and you will yours too. So order it, receive it, love it and never leave it. This thing is amazing and I promise you won't regret it. Deal extreme is amazing!!!
Pros: Speedy movement through lists Nice interfaceLoads everything I've thrown at itCan handle SDHC cards
Cons: As of software 1.42, there is a limit to how many roms/files you can load into one directory. You can get around this by splitting up your games/software into multiple folders, and this is really only relevant to people who have 100+ games, but it is still an inconvenience. Top of micro SD card is not flush
Bottomline: I purchased a DSTT card awhile back from dealextreme and was quite pleased with it for the price. There was one thing I didn't like however, moving through the list of files was slow, which became rather annoying when my number of files expanded. I did some research and found out that the Edge was one of a handful of cards with a snappy response time. And I have to admit, moving through the list of files is much faster. However, it is twice the price, does not have a flush micro sd card slot, and has the annoying requirement that you limit the number of files you have in any given folder. If you're looking for a bottom line answer or comparison, I will say this. If you plan on having tons and tons of files on your card at once, then I would recommend considering the Edge. However, I would say the DSTT is of equal value (albeit, they both have slightly different strengths and weaknesses) and since it is currently half the price, I would suggest going with it. I will say though, the Edge is a fine card, and you'll most likely be happy with it if you choose to purchase it.
