Pros: Build and machining is excellent, output is good, especially on 14500's.
Modded with a Q5 it gets even brighter,.
Solid stainless body makes this torch into a workhorse, capable of taking a beating.
Produces a nice beam with plenty of spill and a soft hotspot.
Cons: Protected 14500 is about one milli meter to long, preventing you to tighten the tailcap all the way.
No o-ring at lens.
Other Thoughts: Somewhat heavier than it's aluminum cousin,
Bottomline: A bit more expensive than it's aluminum cousin, imo it is worth it.
Shiny, shiny

Pros: Looks great
Works on AAs
Bright
Heavy
Cons: I've had better Crees
A bit pricey
Threads a little imperfect
Other Thoughts: I admit it, I bought this because I thought it looked cool. And it does, plus it has a good weight and feel to it. The beam is like other Cree C3s: reliable, workman like and efficient.
Bottomline: You want a Cree that looks groovy, try this one. It's different from your standard black deals, and isn't just a pretty face. I bought this before the AUD went down the toilet, and wouldn't buy another until the dollar got better.

Pros: - better build quality than alu version
- very good brightness
Cons: - drain battery quick (but not as fast as tactical flishlights)
- silver shining look
- dont have o-ring under glass so it isn't waterproof (as all UF C3)
Other Thoughts: I have some aluminum version of this falshlight and in my opinion:
- alu black color is more pleasant for (my) eye than shining silver
- brightnes is exactly the same
- Stainless Steel weight more, you feel it in your hand and in your pocket
- the threads are stronger and not makes loose after few battery changes
Bottomline: I needed flishlight in my work, where conditions for all my equipment are much worse than usually every day using and aluminum flishlights (not HAIII) were quickly scratched or even damaged (see my previous reviews). This one stil keeps on after 4 months.
A real high-toned looking and feeling kinda light

Pros: This light feels very expensive and solid. I feel like I should be slipping it into the pocket of my tuxedo in case the power goes out at the wine tasting exhibition or something. Really high quality for the price. I've bought lights that were twice the price and not as nice.
The brightness is pretty good. Not a egg cooker, but respectable. It's about as bright as my Fenix L1D Q5 on medium. Useful, but not a real crowd-pleaser.
Mine had an o-ring at the lens also.
Cons: The threads are a bit loose, but I don't expect it to cause any stripping problems, as it is good ol' stainless steel. It does have a reverse cliky, which I abhor, loathe, despise and have general icky-wicky feelings about, but that's my therapy bill though. Some people like 'em.
The pill was loose in mine upon arrival (quick fix though). The threads were dry and squeaky, and the o-rings were also lacking in the lubriciousness department (don't steal that word, I'm getting it patented).
Other Thoughts: If you want some custom looking, eye-candy, Lexus matching lighting device without making your credit card squeal, buy this one. You can't really go wrong with this one. Buy it. Buy it NOW!
Bottomline: BUY IT!
