Pros: This thing is a simple drawstring pouch that I can see being used for lots of different things. The strings are sturdy and the pouch itself is made from a soft but not cheaply thin fabric. It's even nice enough to place a gift inside.
Cons: I don't see this as being something you take on a camping trip. It may be good for cushioning a bit but not for major protection from elements or sharp corners.
Other Thoughts: I can see this being used for jewelry or small things not to get lost in a bag. I'm using it simply for my camera lens. My camera bag is already VERY cushion-y but I place my lens in this bag simply for my lens not to get scratched. I'm not relying on this bag for cushioning, just to keep the body away from the other things in the bag. (I use a Slingshot 100AW camera bag.) Before this little pouch, I was simply wrapping my lenses in a large handkerchief.
Bottomline: This pouch is very useful. I'll get a few more for traveling or use for another camera accessory. Or to place a small gift in.
Pros: six different sizes, so you always have the right one for you photographic accessories. I have the full set, and right now four of this puches are in use. Solid, well built, not cheap but with a great value.
Cons: not really a con, but i'd prefer more insulation, expecially on the bottom, but thesere are NOT to use with lenses, so the actual build can do .
Other Thoughts: I'd love is dx sells a 6 pack with all measures (c1 to c6) with a more convenient price.
Bottomline: Use it a soft pouch, seems expensive and well built, but don't put your precious lens in it.
Pros: - Low price- Good materials (some kind of cotton inside and a velvety one outside)- Thick enough to give a good protection- No fluff inside- Strong double drawstring to securely tie it up- No static electricity at all
Cons: - No one I can consider now
Other Thoughts: I ordered this item thinking on my Canon A710 I use to carry around in my jacket pocket and it fits perfect to it. It's a pouch, not a rigid case so don't ask for that kind of protection. It'll keep your camera (or whatever) free from scratches and minor damages, wich is very important to me in a daily use.
Bottomline: Very satisfied with the purchase. I'm going to buy a few more for some of my other cameras. Great value for money
Pros: - Very soft material- Nice and durable look/feel to it- Inside material feels and looks like fleece material- Depending on size, it will fit various objects that needs protection.- Specielly manufactured with lenses for digital SLR cameras in mind (cylindrical shape)- I have tried to rub different materials to it, but have not felt any static electricity build up yet.
Cons: - I had to shake out some lint from inside of it before first use. If these pouches are to be used with camera gears like lenses, there can't be any lint coming off it. Cameras and lenses require dust free environments.
Other Thoughts: I have no clue how the material will hold together and if there will be any mass shedding inside the pouch. A little sturdier material could be better maybe when having lenses inside these pouches.
Bottomline: If it turns out to be useless with lenses, there are plenty of other uses for this as it is a very nice and soft pouch.I now have the C1, C3, C4 and C6
