Pros: Handy so you can greater focus on the viewfinder when taking photographs which is very handy for photography where you need to take your time to compose such as landscape photography.
Cons: Build quality was quite harsh and could scratch your skin when looking into it. I stopped using it because of this
Other Thoughts: A better rubber for the cup would suit better so it fits against the eye more comfortably as it's a little too hard.
Bottomline: This is a really good item but it's just a shame about the quality of the rubber.
Pros: 1. Price is very good. In local store it cost much more than this (but maybe with better build quality)2. A lot of adapters included. So it can be mounted on almost every digital slr (or film slr) camera..3. At first look it looks very professional.
Cons: 1. Build quality is disappointing. Finish quality is bad. It is hard to mount on Canon SLR camera. Can't use all viewfinder. (maybe better situation with non Canon cameras)2. Comes in plastic package. Not a retail package. (but that expected because of low price)
Other Thoughts: Now i'm not using it with my canon slr camera because work with this universal viewfinder eyecup is very uncomfortable.
Bottomline: In conclusion it is not good universal eyecup viewfinder adapter for canon cameras (not tested with other cameras). Build quality is bad. Of course you can try to use it with other cameras. Maybe it is better designed for nikon or leica?
Pros: I can't really think to any pros, as it doesn't fit properly on my Canon 450D, so i couldn't really use it.
Cons: On My Canon 450D it fit badly with gapes between the socket and the adapter. i hope it fits properly on the other cameras, the rubber is quite hard and is not smooth, so it's quite uncomfortable to use. It also cover part of the camera view finder, it result in a partial obscured view of the image, but it may be different on other cameras with other adapters. It's quite expensive if you see the quality. The eye cup has also weak socket for the adapters, it may broke easily.
Other Thoughts: It should be built with better rubber that makes it conformable to use.
Bottomline: I shouldn't buy it. I am thinking to sale on ebay to get the money back.
Pros: The Universal Viewfinder Eyecup for DSLR/SLR (with Adapters) is a very nice accesory for your digital camera. It has multiple adapter for Olympus, Leica, Nikon, Canon. It fits very well on camera and it's very easy to mount.
Cons: The inside ring is too little, and on my EOS 20D I don't see the viewfinder 100%. The quality of the plastic adapters and of the rubber eyecup doesn't feel too trustfull. But, what can I say? At this price
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Do not buy only one of these. It's worth the money...
