Pros: The best laser I have ever had. has a radius very strong. the focus and to burn everything, wood, plastic. Until his eye, so careful.
Cons: Nothing really against, unless the packaging and expectancy of arrival. Takes to deliver here because the other side of the planet.
Other Thoughts: only comes packed in a plastic bubble,if he had a case that would be perfect...................................................................................................................................................................
Bottomline: Cool product, definitive red laser.Could have a blue violet and green in a model with the same voltage.
Pros: + It burns everything I expected it to burn. Focusing ability greatly helps burning.+ Can be focused from a tiny point less than 5cm from aperture to a flashlight-like beam.+ Lens assembly is made of metal, no plastic here. The whole body is made of aluminium.+ Beam is very well visible for me at night. I can see the beam of a 5mW red, though.+ Forward clicky swich.
Cons: - Lens assembly threads are a little loose. This problem is easily fixed with some teflon tape.- Uses low capacity CR2s which are among the worst ones a high powered laser can use (except button cells...).- Very small lanyard, but I don't need it.
Other Thoughts: DX should stock 3,6V CR2s which will yield higher power output. Compared to Romisen L-C030 30mW green laser the dot has the same brightness, but the beam is less bright. Uses a "long closed can" laser diode. Draws 340mA down to 6V. Below that current decreases gradualy.
Bottomline: If you need a cheap laser for burning, this is for you. Newer model seems to have better focusing (sku.22933). It is a bit more expensive.
Pros: It really does what it is supposed to do.- It will burn virtually anything you want if properly focused and kept in the same position.- Build quality is correct. The on/off button is not great, though. I haven't experienced the problem with Panasonic CR2 batteries that has been reported in previous reviews.
Cons: Laser beam is not really visible in daylight.- You need to practice in order to focus correctly.- The device gets hot after some minutes of use.
Other Thoughts: Batteries not included. Can the price be raised a couple of bucks in order to include them?
Bottomline: Cool gadget at a fair price. Laser beam is way more powerful than those on the majority of laser pointers I've used.
Pros: Pop black baloons almost instantlight matches in 1 secondsmoke almost all dark colored plastics and sinthetic materials.penetrate thin ones. .
Cons: I had to add a spongie ring between the head and body to make it more fixed, not very easy to unfocus.Batteries are little bit forced when screw the tail. .
Other Thoughts: Do all what a burner should. .
Bottomline: Buy it if you want a burner. will do the triks, with proper focus of cource. .
