Pros: great focusable head, great output - real 200 mw, compact - you can have it in your pocket, easy to use, good power switch, far far distance :) will burn everything black in less than second, pops ballons, fires matches in instance, great price for such power.

Cons: Red light not as visible as green - at night. Batteries not included.

Other Thoughts: Really dangerous when put to wrong hands, can harm your eyes, will burn your skin.
Great laser for burning, great value.

Bottomline: Everyone interested in lasers should buy this one :) I struggled too long to find out that this one is the best laser for its price.

Pros: This think took only 3 days to ship to the UK!! came through customs fine and with energizer lithium CR2 batteries it burnt my black wooden desk in a matter of seconds. Pops ballons in the blink of an eye and can cut through bin liners like scissors though paper. Beam is quite visible at night, about the same as my 5mW green and the dot goes for miles. When un-focused it acts like a red flashlight. A definite buy for anybody.

Cons: Ok, it also has some cons.
One big con of this laser is the focus, you have to twist the focus to get a sharp dot. If you let someone else use your laser they will keep twisting the focus and it will fall of. So you need to know how to use it.
Also the batteries are a con, this laser uses 2 CR2 batteries which are very expensive here. You can also order them here on DX.

Other Thoughts: Very minor issues: The contact spring bent over shorting the battery to the inner tube - fixed by bending it back and adding a piece of rolled paper as an insulator. Also needed a drop of loctite on the (adjuster cap to collimating lens) threads and a dab of petro jelly on the (lens to body)threads - it'll make a difference when fine tuning focus.

Bottomline: BE CAREFULL, this laser is not a toy at all. You need to know how this laser works cause else it can cause eye damage instantly!

Doesnt burn anything unless its black and thin (is mine faulty?)
Its hard to focus the lense, since it moves around so easily

Other Thoughts: Should have a better lense, and i think mine is faulty because it doesnt burn things like shown in the video. Cant light a match stick or anything.

Bottomline: Not a good laser, but for $50, its pretty awesome to play with. Also managed to import it into Australia (western) with absolutely no problems :)

Pros: - Burn as hell. :-D
- Focusable!!!
- Price: very cheap, it would cost ten or twenty times this price on other sites.
- No IR rays since it is a red laser, so no risk as long as you don't point it right to your eyes..
- Good quality after all, a little heavy, that's good.
- Nicely bright for a red laser ! Can easily point stars of course, and be seen hundreds miles away!

Cons: - Since it is a wavelength the eyes are not very sensitive to, it is not as bright as a green laser. If you want brightness, buy a True 100mW green.
- That kind of batteries it uses costs a lot...
- Buy the rechangeable batteries of dealextrem, it's worth it. But still... those ones don't last a very long time. Buy two sets... so you can recharge the second set while using the first one.

Other Thoughts: You will for sure impress your friends. But remember that it's not a toy. This laser is extremely dangerous for your eyes, and even for dark skin!

Bottomline: I assure you won't regret buying it!! I don't.
