Pros: -It looks really cool, like an american old west six-shooter of sorts!-Very easy to figure out how to load it, just hook onto the barrel and onto one of the "spokes": Click, click and whoosh!-Makes me want to buy two of them and some holsters and go do some double-barreled action on my friends!-Durable construction!
Cons: -Kind of smells, due to the cheap wood used but after using it for awhile it isn't a problem-Wish it could shoot the rubber bands with a bit more force, like enough to leave a decent sting, but it's safer this way! (for my nephews, anyways)
Other Thoughts: -It's just really cool!-Ammo is free/super cheap!-Impress your friends with something that you won't see in most stores
Bottomline: -It's an inexpensive and fun toy that hearkens back to the days when toys didn't have to be so complicated or electronic to be fun(like little plastic soldiers!)Pick one up with your next order, you won't regret it!
Pros: Best Rubber band Gun EVER!!!Simply Amazing!Comes with rubber bands.The launcher is well built and sturdy. It is an excellent piece of craftsmanship. Fun for family,friends, and pranks.
Cons: Doesn't shoot fast...gets jammed at times.Can hit you in the eye so have goggles prepared.
Other Thoughts: Similar to a slingshot, but less dangerous. For kids older than about 5. Very fun. Customizable Somewhat, Because since it is made of wood you can paint or change the revolver.. Buy 2 so you can have showdowns...Just don't forget goggles.
Bottomline: BUY IY! ITS CHEAP AND EFFICIENT and gets the job done. Definitely would buy again if I needed to.
Pros: Works well. You can load about 5 or 6 rubber bands at once, and they are fired in succession, with each trigger pull. The mechanism is simple and works very well. Fun for having rubber band wars and doesn't hurt when hit. Pretty safe for children to play with.
Cons: The build quality is alright, but sometimes the wooden pins fall out. This can be easily remedied with some wood glue.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: A neat toy if you have a friend to play with. I bought two. I would have wanted one when I was a kid.
Pros: -Nice old time look-When loaded properly, these really do give you a multi shot rubber band gun-The finish is more "unfinished" than "finished". I list this as a "Pro" since I feel this adds to the rustic, old-time look.
Cons: -Bought two. One works great after lots of use. One sort of works after the same heavy use.-The one which is malfunctioning will shoot all rubber bands at once instead of one at a time. It isnt broken but certainly doesnt work as designed
Other Thoughts: These are NOT stained wood. The wood has been wood burned. Given the recent problems with lead in toys, I'll take the wood burned model instead of a painted/stained model.
Bottomline: Nice toy for responsible older children.My experience of buying 2 and having 1 malfunction shows that quality is a bit hit or miss.
