Cons: the first time I tried to use an extra 1 gb micro sd card and i change for 2 gb micro sd
If you're a new user run the update every time but is necesary to doit,and you never charge full the Micro SD is as all,the games run to slow all the cards do it the same well good luck

Other Thoughts: ever be sure to download the last update of firmware to run it

Bottomline: the N5 run more better the games than M3 and R4 if you are ready to play get it is very well option

Pros: -the box containing the n5 cartridge was not damaged
-all the games i tried, worked on the n5
-Easy to download the firmware of the internet
-You can press "select" to change the backround (im not sure everyone will have this)

Cons: When I took a look at the sticker, it was a little bit crooked but not by much. It doesn't really bother me. I'm not sure but when i put the micro sd card inside, i slide it in and sometimes it gets stuck

Other Thoughts: BUY IT! You will not regret it

Bottomline: If you are thinking to buy a NDS flashcard to download free games, buy the n5,it's the best.

Pros: Easy to download the latest firmware at the official website
Worked the first time after installing all the downloaded files, plus some roms and music, onto the 4 gb kingston micro sdhc
Has the ability to play music files and video files (I have used mp3 and dpg files without any problems).

Cons: I tried to use an extra 1 gb micro sd card in the same manner as the 4 gb (for more music and videos, and a couple more games), but despite reformatting, reinstalling files, etc, I could never get past the "loading" screen with this particular card. It could just be my 1 gb card itself, but other people on the internet have complained about this (with various micro sd cards). Not completely fool-proof or guaranteed to work with any or all micro sd cards, I guess.
If you're a new user like me (never owned any product like this before for the DS), the user interface takes a little while to get used to (especially on how to switch to the next or previous song, fast-forward through video, etc) but at least you can use the touchscreen to select items on the screen (in addition to the d-pad and buttons)

Other Thoughts: I'm thinking of purchasing higher capacity micro sd cards for this in the future, but am not entirely certain that it will work, like the 4 gb kingston that I have right now. Granted, this product itself is inexpensive, but I don't want to waste money on micro sd cards that I can't put to use.

Bottomline: At this time, it does what I want it to do. I would recommend this product because of its affordable price, but it seems some people have luck with it and some don't.

Pros: It's cheap and works ok, I ordered a couple of N5 on the first days of January, one for me and other for my wife and both are working pretty fine, no fuse problems, all loaded ROMs works fine.
perhaps this latest hardware iteration has fixed the problems reported by other users?
the N5 cartridge is of good quality, the microSD stays inside the cart and the cart inserts & ejects smoothly to our nintendo DSs.
It's very easy to use, we are only using it for games and the menu and game selection is very intuitive and easy
for the N5 I also purchased a couple of Kingston 4GB TF TransFlash MicroSD SDHC Memory Card (Class 4) (SKU: 11241) and the combination works fine !

Cons: Indeed the battery life of the DS gets diminished but in our case (2 NDS systems) we noticed it to get 20-30% less battery life which is good. I'm aware that since the games are read from the microSD the voltage consumption is a bit higher than with a standard DS cartridge game.

Other Thoughts: Overall it's a good and working product, does what it claims and so far there have being no issues, even the WiFi connectivity of some games (ROMs) works fine.
This is a must for every NDS owner

Bottomline: So far we have not experienced any of the reported issues (like the fuse issue) and hope not having that, almost 3 weeks of using it ans do far so good.
