Pros: These normally sell for 5 times the price so it's a great bargain. The scale is easy to read in good lighting. It seems to be very accurate; the results are repeatable and you can reset to '0' anytime. You can change measurement units. It is built good and SOLID !
Cons: The numbers to not lock in. What I mean is you only get real-time results. This would have been better if the reading was locked in after a few seconds, like some bathroom scales do.As a result, you'll need a second person to read it when lifting something heavy (suitcase). When lifting a suitcase, it hurts to have 50 lbs hanging from a metal ring on your finger. For this application, I suggest a pillowcase through the ring and lift load by grabbing the pillowcase.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Buy it.Travel with it to avoid overweight charges at the airport.
Pros: It seems to be resistant, and it's quite precise. I tested it comparing to a precision scale in a lab, and the maximum error was less than 5% (and that for small weights - the bigger the weight, the smaller the error). It can weigh in kg, lb, JIN and oz.It can also measure temperature (in ºC).
Cons: None so far. One of the batteries arrived with no charge, but that is not a problem of the device.
Other Thoughts: It uses 2, not 3 batteries type 'AAA'
Bottomline: It's perfect for weighing things at home or in trips. Carrying a plate with handle or a bag with it is a good idea, when you need to weigh things that can't be 'hooked'.
Pros: A small, lightweight, and convenient scale that is very accurate after being zeroed. Accepts common "AA" style batteries, and was very easy to mount to a bolt in the ceiling of our mail room. We tested it against a calibrated postage scale, and the readings were spot-on. Can measure in whole lbs. & oz., lbs (to 1/100th), oz. (to 1/10th), kg, and Chinese jin.
Cons: None, so far.
Other Thoughts: This was a far better scale than I had anticipated. We purchased this as a rough backup for out primary postage scales, but this might wind up getting just as much usage. We made a nice nylon harness for larger packages, which is easy to zero-in.
Bottomline: An exceptional value for a very good electronic scale. I would highly recommend this model scale for most purposes.
Pros: *Very easy to use, and seems exact. *Handy functions. (Calibration)*Relatively cheap.*Well shaped
Cons: No cons at all.I thought it was smaller than it really was. I thought it was like matchbox-sized, but its actually perfect sized and i could have read the measures, just looked smaller in the pictures thats allNo cons!
Other Thoughts: -I use this to measure my rucksack before trips (Training purposes).-Measure fish.... if i ever get one
Bottomline: If you want a relatively cheap hanging scale, id go for this without thinking!
