Pros: Decent built quality. Spring-back mechanism with a real spring. Removable string for fastening to camera body available.
Cons: Considering the price none. Maybe the spring-back mechanism could be built using 2 springs to achieve symmetrical and balanced movement when pushing, but it's still decent and operates quite well.
Other Thoughts: Some more expensive products (even the brand names) have all-plastic construction including the spring-back mechanism, which breaks after some time and requires you to buy a new cap. This cap is despite it's cheaper looking plastic better.
Bottomline: Good and cheap alternative to your current get-to-break or get-to-lose lens cap.
Pros: Easy "pinch" removal system along with properly molded threads to attach to lens/filter mount makes this an excellent buy. The string is a nice touch but it easily removed if one doesn't want to use it.
Cons: None really. If you're really picky and comparing this to the original lens cap from a reputable manufacturer like Pentax, Canon, Nikon, etc. than one might state the plastic molding and fit is a tiny step down. To me though, it is very well made.
Other Thoughts: Much better than any other non-original lens cap. I've seen some really poorly made ones and owned a couple that didn't inspire confidence. At this price, it's time to put the junky ones in the spares box.
Bottomline: Excellent value and often easier to use than original.
Pros: Very practical lid for the objective. Can be fastened simply and certainly by the provided cord to the objective. Hence, it cannot get lost. To use simply also with solar screen. The lid can be very simply taken by the inside-recumbent intervention and be retired.The processing is very good for this price.
Cons: No Cons!!!
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Very inexpensive objective lid. Also very well as a substitute suitable.I will further order from the objective lids. For this price one must simply strike.
