Pros: It´s really small. Fits perfectly on the front USB of my PC. Worked with all of my devices (digital camera, cellphone, mp4 and notebook). Fast transfers (to a bluetooth connection).
Cons: The blue led is very bright, in my case, I can just close the front door of the USBs on the PC, but I think if you don´t have any way to cover the adapter, it´s best to plug on the back USBs.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Buy it if you want a small USB Bluetooth adapter with a good speed of transfer over the connection.PS.: I hate to have to write 500 characters.
Pros: installed with a breeze. my windows xp recognized it without any problem. I was able to connect my phone in seconds. I even able to use my cellphone to control my media center. and the cursor of my pc.
Cons: a little small and might be easily misplaced. That is right you need a spare SD card plastic case to us to avoid losing this one.
Other Thoughts: with this price you will be able to upgrade your pc to be bluetooth enabled computer. the windows build in driver can recognize it.
Bottomline: a great piece of great value to own by anyone.
Pros: Very small, works under linux - no tinkering required.Tested under Elive and ubuntu.Very cheap.
Cons: Haven't really experienced any drawbacks - except if you lay it down, remember where you put it or it might be hard to find again.
Other Thoughts: I use an empty SD card box to keep a spare in my bag, so I can have one dongle with me when I'm out. This also might qualify for a DIY project to add BT to a laptop that doesn't have one.I am considering implementing this in my Acer Aspire One.
Bottomline: Compatible, small and cheap.
Pros: Very small, just works very well. Supplied Toshiba driver stack works well with Windows XP, but in fact the built-in Windows XP driver stack works fine as well (as my son discovered later). I have used this with various mobile phones and it just works.
Cons: It really is tiny. It would be quite easy to lose, but I've just bought one for every machine we have that actually needs it, so they just stay plugged in all the time.
Other Thoughts: It flashes a pretty blue light when in use! It is unobtrusive. The build quality is fine.
Bottomline: It comes with a mini CD containing the Toshiba driver stack. I have no idea if this works on Windows 2000, but it says it works fine on Vist (I don't have Vista, so I haven't tried).
