Little SD card reader for a great price. This unit is tested and ran perfectly on a Sandisk 2GB Extreme II SD Card and a PQI 512MB SD card. Both cards' reading speed is 4MB/s, which is slower than expected.

We tested the SD/MMS/XD/MS/DUO adapter with a 2GB Pro Duo and we experienced some difficulties in removing the Pro Duo from the adapter. The Pro Duo is a little too short for the adapter, so you will need your fingernail in taking out the Duo after usage.

Pros: This far exceeds what you expect to get for the price. It is compact, works with every memory card I have from 512m to 16G, and you can even store one in it. For two dollars you'll find you need more than one. It doesn't have lights or anything silly on it. It just fits the purpose that it was made for and does so well.
 
Cons: I can't think of a thing. There is nothing about this item that I wish that it had and anything that takes away from it's functionality.
 
Other Thoughts: I like the grey/black color.
 
Bottomline: Buy two at least. You'll want one to keep with your camera, one in the car for your phone, one at the office for other people to use, etc...

Just buy it!

Pros: - Works just fine;
- not ugly;
- can be hide like a pendrive;
 
Cons: none at all... maybe once that it needs to take sometime to get read buy my PC... but It just happened once.
 
Other Thoughts: I bought in DX the Micro SD with SD adapter wrong for a friend that told me to buy that to put on her celphone. ok... when it cames she saw it was wrong and didn´t know what to do with it. So I told her to buy an adapter.. So I did.
 
Bottomline: cheap and usefull... if you need a single reader, just buy it. But if you need multiple readers, DX got a lot of them!
