Pros: Looks like the real thing, my iPhone 3G fit without problems. The FM transmitter is quite powerful in comparison to other cheap ones I've had in the past. It doesn't seem to be damaged easily, so it could also be useful to mod in your car.
Cons: Not a certified product (or something like that): the iphone gives you an annoying screen on how the accessoire isn't designed to work with the iphone and whether or not you'd like to enable Airplane mode. Every time you connect it...It doesn't always charge my iPhone 3G, which is annoying because the battery will run out pretty quickly. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.Also, iTunes wouldnt recognize my iPhone with the dock in between: it sees an iphone/ipod is connected but then gives an error. I would have liked it if i could synch it while it's in the dock. Disconnect the cable from the dock and connect it directly to the iPhone -> no problem
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: There are some annoyances, but it's great considering what you pay for it.
Pros: - Looks as genuine apple product- FM transmitter works- audio out works- Data cable works
Cons: - I had to modify it for iPhone 3G with a knife.- Remote control doesn't work that well (have to hold it in a 1m range, and that basicly sorts out the functionlity of the remote)
Other Thoughts: Price is very good, but if you're buying this for iPhone 3G. You have to modify the holder.
Bottomline: Great product, but not voor iPhone 3G. Someone above reviewed it and told us that it works great on iPhone 3G... but maybe there are different versions??
Pros: As proud owner of an iPhone 3G I was looking for a way to use my mobile phone in my car, while it's getting charged. The 3G fits the dock quite nicely and the FM-transmitter is nice and clear. The remote is a nice extra.
Cons: I still couldn't find any cons, except maybe you can't use a skin for your iPhone. Without skin it just fits.
Other Thoughts: Combined with this product (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15618) I now have a very nice car system. Very pleased about both products
Bottomline: Overall a very nice product, when you are looking for a device to play your music while it is getting charged, this is a nice solution. The price is lower than any similar product.
Pros: Just a good dock... remote works fine... I haven't tested the FM transmission. Very good bulid quality...remote very simply.
Cons: If you have an Ipod classic, please do not buy... it's for Iphone and Nano only (the package title should be changed)...I used my Dremel to eliminate borders and use it with my Classic 80GB.Sometimes music get sounding but stoping each 2 seconds...strange issue, Ipod should be disconnected and connected dagain to it to solve.
Other Thoughts: In general, a good dock for its price... not a perfect one, but it works.
