Pros: without a doubt, the ssc P7 delivers.-nice spot to flood (especially nice on bikes, i used with the flashlight bike mount with the sku of 08274)-The LED is perfectly centered-5 modes with an easy tap start, and mode memory-its MTE, what does that mean? i didnt know, but now i do. all the parts are quality, even the clickey on the back.
Cons: -to keep the cost down, the lens is glass, which is good and bad (bad: it can crack) (good: it scratches less than plastic) i would recommend a specially cut piece of poly-carbonate)-other than that, just watch the heat, they are super high powered leds, and they do tend to heat up (although mine has not)
Other Thoughts: THE SSC P7 is the way to go!!!i will make u a video of this flashlight blowing the maglights out of the water.
Bottomline: my dad is a union electrician, and has always trusted 'maglight' well, if this came with a belt loop thing, he would use itTHE ONLY WAY TO GET A BRIGHTER FLASHLIGHT IS TO DROP IN ABOUT 300$ AND GET AN HID FLASHLIGHT some HID flashlights cost over 3 thousand dollars (Polarion
Pros: Lots of lightReasonable tough (could take daily carrying)
Cons: Lack of Forward Clicky
Other Thoughts: This is a good utility flashlight, good to stick in your pocket. That is what I use mine for. It is well able to withstand that level of abuse. For me it has too many modes, but that is not really a con since I could have brought one with less modes if I had felt that way when I brought it :), Is bright, not a whole lot of throw, but decent compared to other comparable lights.
Bottomline: This is a good utility pocket light, I run mine on a 18650 battery.
Pros: This is a very nice light I own many "brand name" lights and this on is better then all of them. The option of output is very usefull. I plan on using it in a tactical application (mounted on a m4). The ablity to apply a vison distraction that is just as effective as a flash grenade is a awsome tool to have.
Cons: Only if you could switch between modes without cycling the light. That is it...
Other Thoughts: Maybe it could come with a charger and batteries....
Bottomline: This is absoultly worth the money. Other lights of this output in my experince cost 100 to 200 dollars.
Pros: This is a very bright light, but nothing like the 900 lumen, I'd say more like 700 at best. Compact, fitted with O rings and well built, so it should last.
Cons: Questionable finishing. Damaged O rings, the white letter printing on the side is poor and a couple of scuffs on the body let the torch down. Looks like it's been put together in a hurry.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: This as very bright torch, providing a good balance between throw and flood. I'm using it with Sku 08274 as a secondary bike light, for which it's perfect. It would be nice an adjustable flood to spot facility like my Maglight.
