Pros: Very, I mean very bright! Dont' look straight into it because it can dammage your eyes.
Good operating time: about 1:30 hours in "high" mode, about 12 hours in "mid" mode and over 20 hours in "low" mode.
Great light range, about 100 meters.
Cons: Getting warm wuite fast in "high" mode, even can overheat. Not completly waterproof.
Other Thoughts: Need to modify a little to inprove cooling of the diode.
Can be used to bling your enemies if you use it in paintball or ASG while night games.
Bottomline: Great choice for every one who likes hiking, camping or even survival. Can be used in rain with no harm to it, but isn't waterproof like for diving. Super bright, the "mid" mode is enought, "high" mode can be used only if you need to see at very long distance.

Pros: Great light, bright as heck. small and fits my big hands wonderfully. Brighter that my wife's Terralux Mag Lite conversion. Got one for the bedroom and one for the car. I've had my light for more than a month, use it a little bit every night and haven't had to charge it yet.
Cons: some scratches on finish when delivered, no instructions so I don't know how to use the memory feature.
Other Thoughts: Would anybody please tell me how to set the memory on the light.
Bottomline: Buy it. If you need any information, log in to the forums. Good folks here.

Pros: The best light so far from DX, although bought many others, this is by far the best VFM one, the output is stunning, spread is awsome, I like the 3 brightness ettings, with low being more than enough for normal duties, unlike some where low is no use.
Cons: Battery label inside light seems to show a battery with a pos at each end for insertion, but does also contain + and -.
Start up is in medium mode, then high then low, would have liked L/M/H.
No lanyard despite there being a hole in tailcap.
Pity they don't make these in AA format.
Other Thoughts: Would happily recommend this light for bang per £/$, nice crispy white light no blueness, great spread, doesn't get hot.
Bottomline: Want a bright light for not much money and have 18650 batteries get one before they sell out, you won't regret it.

Pros: without a doubt, the ssc P7 delivers.
-nice spot to flood (especially nice on bikes, i used with the flashlight bike mount with the sku of 08274)
-The LED is perfectly centered
-5 modes with an easy tap start, and mode memory
-its MTE, what does that mean? i didnt know, but now i do. all the parts are quality, even the clickey on the back.
Cons: -to keep the cost down, the lens is glass, which is good and bad (bad: it can crack) (good: it scratches less than plastic) i would recommend a specially cut piece of poly-carbonate)
-other than that, just watch the heat, they are super high powered leds, and they do tend to heat up (although mine has not)
Other Thoughts: THE SSC P7 is the way to go!!!
i will make u a video of this flashlight blowing the maglights out of the water.
Bottomline: my dad is a union electrician, and has always trusted 'maglight' well, if this came with a belt loop thing, he would use it
THE ONLY WAY TO GET A BRIGHTER FLASHLIGHT IS TO DROP IN ABOUT 300$ AND GET AN HID FLASHLIGHT some HID flashlights cost over 3 thousand dollars (Polarion
