Pros: I never had in my hands an 'official' guitar, and thus I can't compare it with one of this.
However, I can say it looks good and works fine. Just as I expected. It really does not look 'cheap', just 'normal' (I say this, given that I don't have other brand/qualities to do a comparison)
I've tested it and it works fine with guitar hero III legends of rock, guitar hero III custom edition and guitar hero Metallica.

Cons: One of the buttons sometimes does not respond very well (that's why the "4" in 'build quality'.

Other Thoughts: It's far better than play guitar hero just with your wii remote or do not play at all (i.e. GH Metallica does not work with just the wii remote)

Bottomline: Does its job! Get it, if you want a better experience than playing GH III with your wii remote.

Pros: Alem do preço, que em nenhum lugar no Brasil você vai achar igual, o produto é de boa qualidade (Assim como todos acessórios PEGA). O meu não veio com nenhum defeito, ta funcionanado tudo perfeito.

Cons: A posição dos botões me parece um pouco incomoda, após umas três horas jogando fiquei com um pouco de dor no braço, mas acho que todos modelos devem ter esse problema pelo tamanho.

Other Thoughts: Não tive problemas com a entrega pelo correio, apesar do preço ultrapassar os 50 doláres, porém demorou quase um mês para chegar.

Bottomline: Uma das melhores compras que eu já fiz no DX.

Pros: -For Brazilian customers its is cheap since here the original bundle (with game) costs 5 times more. But for those who can buy it at USA, there, the bundle, costs no more than $100 dollars.
-Small package: it comes unmounted in a small package but it is easy to mount. Good since customs do not tax it.
-It is very similar to the original one and works exactly as it.
-The plastic quality is good, all controls responds well (the whammy bar, the strum bar and frets buttons). The strap is comfortable.

Cons: -It smells bad but the smell goes away few hour after you open the box. This is not a big problem but this smells was present at other controller I bought. It was a dance pad and it had this bad smell too. Like the guitar smells went way few hours after package opened.
-The frets respond well but are, sometimes, difficult to press. (i think this is because it is new)
-The strum bar is too fragile. After playing for 2 days it stops to work when pressed down. After more 5 days it stops to work when pressed on both directions (up and down). This was really annoying me since I am not a hard gamer, I only play 1 or 2 hours per day and not every day.

Other Thoughts: Since I have basic electronic skills I decided to open it to fix the strum bar. After had opened it the issue with strum bar stops to annoying me. I discover that it was a bad contact between switch button (huge switch) and the plastic strum bar. I only had to move the plastic strum to the right place and it starts to work again. In fact what made me happy was the idea that if the switch broken forever it can be replaced easy. So I can fix it at home in less than one hour. I don´t know if anyone will have enough skills to it but I have only basic skills and did without problems.

Bottomline: I want to buy another one for my wife to play with me (or to I play with her ;) but after strum bar issue I was thinking to pay 5 times more for the original one. Since I fixed the strum bar I decided to buy another one here and save some money.

Pros: Very cheap (here in Brazil it cost 4x or 5x more), arrived very fast (2 weeks), easy to learn how to use.
It's build in a good quality plastic.
It's easy to set up, just plug the arm to the body guitar and the wii control to the set and start to play!

Cons: Becareful, a lot of odds to become addicted, to get divorced, to get problems with your neighbours, to annoying your parents...

Other Thoughts: What are you waiting for to become a new rockstar?
If you don't have one, buy two... and challenge your friends to battle the greatests songs!

Bottomline: If you are in doubt to buy from Brazil, don't worry, I recommend!!!
