Pros: - Great build quality, and great accessories quality.
- Comes with a nice case for the player.
- Comes with aluminum vertical stand.
- Easy firmware update.
- Great menu (not the crappy menu the cheap players have).
0 Can host another USB device like USB flash drive, or external powered USB HDD enclosure.

Cons: - Works ONLY with a special DiyoMate USB cable. This sucks as you get only one, and you need to carry it with the case all the time.
- DOESN'T PLAY ANY HD MATERIAL! This includes the following formats I tried:
*720p MPEG2
*1080i MPEG2
*720p DivX6
*1080i DivX6
*720p XviD
*1080i XviD
*720p rmvb (based on x264 which it plays)
*1080i rmvb
Even the "HD Menu" is actually a 480p stream. The component output works, but no delivering true HD picture.

Other Thoughts: This thing should cost 50$ nothing more. tat is for the better menu and quality of the product. However, this item doesn't have any feature over the basic 34$ SATA player DX sell, based on the fact that the VGA output on the basic player works well on an LCD/Plasma TV.

Bottomline: A great product which costs to much for its features.

Pros: It seems nice. Have a good design and is too small. Video quality using component video output is very good. User interface is easy to use and have good resources. Has support to resolutions up to 1080i, using component video output.

Cons: - Only support two languages: English and Chinese. Doesn´t support subtitles with latin characters. Not useful to portuguese and spanish.
- Have some firmware bugs. Unit hangs sometimes while you're choosing video files.
- Doesn't play video files (MPEG-2 and AVI) with resolutions HD 1920x1080i. Unit shows a message: CAN´T SUPPORT THIS VIDEO FORMAT
- Remote control unit has poor resources and low range.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: - Excelent to see photos on full hd LCD TV, using component video.

Pros: Its a good build player easy to put to gether.
The factory give's exstra matarials to put it together for an nieuw upgrade.
It workt very easy you don't need a instruction manual,player does not get hot only warm by playing 5 movie's after a nother.And it got a playlist for your movie's.
You can see the movie titel and it play's in a littel screen the movie from that titel so you can see if you did play it already. It got al the kabels you need and a nice pocket bag fits a player 1 kabel and i.r.

Cons: The construction is made of aloy it's printing plate is of a good quality.
screws are not visibele you get to decals 1 for covering them op and 1 for a upgrade if you want to put a bigger hhd drive in it.you got a good adapter with it on it is a indicator lite that it's working,the kabels are from a good quality also.package was very good as wel

Other Thoughts: The only thing i mis is the web adres for upgrading the system .
on the box it sas you can upgrade it at there firmware but there is no adres,
You can't change the the chine's in to english you get the together.
subtiltels are o.k that depence on how you down load it.
I would like to have one with recorder it sas on the box there is one hp3525.

Bottomline: It play's al my down loads,and it plays al the avi file's etc in dvd quality on my plasma screen realy greath.Also on my beamer it works.
It works very good for me hoop this wil help you to buy one of these O.k you have to pay a littel more but you'l get a good quality product and no frustration's it play's it selfs.
