Pros: - this bluetooth adapter is very small and seeing what is available, is probably the closest you are going to get for a flush finish to your usb ports. it only sticks out about 1cm.- blue led lights up and flashes when connected
Cons: - blue led lights up and flashes when connected (kind of annoying after a while in a dark room)- software that comes with it (bluesoliel) is subpar. windows xp wasn't able to recognize it on it's own, so i had to use the software that came with it.- no audio support for computer. (would be nice to have it tie into computers speaker and mic for voip uses)- very small, you can easily loose it if you take it out of the usb port.
Other Thoughts: -would be better if the software was more robust allowing access to other protocols.
Bottomline: object push works fine and that's what i use the most (transferring pictures and videos from cell to pc). it adds bluetooth support to your laptop (or desktop) for under $10, so it's a good deal.
Pros: A good small device that works and does the job stably.
Cons: There's an annoying blue light that always flickers when you have it connect to the usb port. But I supposed you could get some black tape and tape it over the light so it doesn't annoy you. Probably not that long of a range for transmission compared to alot of other bigger devices too.
Other Thoughts: I have not tried this out on a mac, so I don't know whether this is mac compatible or not either.
Bottomline: It is a great product despite a few cons that it has, get it, before they run out.
Pros: - Extremely small. It builds so little out from the computer that the only reason to remove it would be if you run out of USB-ports.- Plug it in and the computer recognizes it and you're ready to transfer files.- A very useful BT transfer application is included on a mini-CD.
Cons: - The only i can think of is that it might be TOO small. I managed to lose mine (note: Not because it fell out, but because I took it out and forgot where i placed it).
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: If you're in need of a BT dongle, don't hesitate, this one does the job well and you'll hardly notice it.
Pros: - Easy to use. (Just plug and play and you're on the go)- Great range (I really don't understand why one would need more than a few metres)- The provided software is good (it's included a little CD which has a neat program called Bluesoleil)- No need to remove it from the computer as it doesn't stick out very far (unless you run out of USB-slots).
Cons: - This may not qualify as a con as it's advertised as the worlds smallest BT dongle, but actually is a bit too small :s I have now managed to lose mine :)- None other.
Bottomline: If you need to Bluetooth-connectivity on your computer. This is a very good way to get it.
