Great starter camera

Pros: Very good for children - a cheap, decent quality camera. It has the basic functions and was packaged fine.
 
Cons: Didn't come with a memory card. Screen jumps a little. Shipping took two weeks.
 
Other Thoughts: Really, this is a starter camera for children. Don't purchase this if your looking for a great quality camera.
 
Bottomline: A great, cheap buy. Great for presents! A starter camera for children.
I gave this to my child and he loves it. Uses it to take pictures and videos. I played around with it, and I personally think this camera isn't user friendly, but as my child loves it, I would recommend it for all children! For such a cheap price, why not?

Pros: - Simply unbeatable price
- It does shoot 640x480 videos at 30 FPS (MJPEG codec)
- Pictures at default resolution & best quality look pretty good
 
Cons: - No optical zoom. Of course I didn't expect one in this price though.
- Uses batteries pretty quickly
 
Other Thoughts: - The optimal resolution is actually 1280x960, not 1280x1024. 
- Pics at 1280x960 and best quality take about 600kb
- I plugged in an 2gb card, and it shows 2018 pics can be taken. Definitely more than would fit in 512mb, but less than 2gb, perhaps the counting algorithm under-estimates (they usually do). I haven't yet taken over thousand pics, so can't tell yet :)
 
Bottomline: If you need a digital cam, and have no need for HD resolutions, get this.
 
					

Great for kids!

Pros: This camera is perfect for kids or those just wanting to take simple clips and nice pictures.
Perfect for video bloggers or anyone who does video for YouTube or online.
Framerate of camera is great, picture quality is very nice, just perfect for online video not much else.
 
Cons: Bad in low-light, make sure its nice and bright to get best image quality.
need to keep very still when taking photos to avoid blur unless its really bright.
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: As above, if the weather is nice and bright this camera is brilliant, if you are going on holiday it would be a lovley present for your child if they want to do some film too. Plus its really good being able to see your kids perspective on things as they film it :)
