Bottomline: It didn't come with drivers.
Pros: The physical build of the unit is quite good. The casing and connectors are more solid than many other units.The lights help a little if you're truly "in a dark place. In most situations they won't make an impact and might actually spike the contrast beyond optimal ranges. But it also doubles for a good keyboard lamp.

Cons: - The real resolution is terrible. Max. 352x288- It looks good externally, but build construction inside is not superb (I already opened it, on the first day :)- The LEDs don't seem to be controllable by software. They can be turned on and off using a sort of dial in the cable- Windows XP didn't recognize the camera. The driver CD has only a .exe file with a chinese name (I didn't trust the procedence of the file, to run it on my system)
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: I didn't expect more than that from a $5 webcam. If you have this in mind, you won't be disappointed. It is worth the price.

Software/driver installation:1) From the autoplay CD menu, click on "driver" and install the video capture software and driver.
