Pros: - good quality build- it works? ;-)- cheap
Cons: - could left an usb for charging while watching video?- dock connecter must be plugged firmly into ipod- when in video mode, i can't get audio out on dock, only via audio/phones out (ipod nano 3g)
Other Thoughts: tested on Ipod Nano 3G 8GB (no, video games can't be played via video out, blame Apple)if u didn't already knew, there is no chip on cable. Apple uses resistance (resistor in ohms) to reckognize whats plugged to ipod via it's dock
Bottomline: good value, better than giving 50$ to Apple
Pros: -connectors are nice-works beautifully with my 80GB iPod classic 1.1.2-price is good
Cons: -having the patience for waiting on the cord-connector was hard to connect to the iPod the first few times

Bottomline: BUY BUY BUY
Pros: Using an ipod classic 6th gen with 180 gb of Hard disk. - Works really good on most of the cases.- Cable looks well constructed- Video output is really nice, but the video encoded shoul be high quality. Tested using CloneDVD and with standard settings looks very bad, but using high quality looks really good. Will post some pictures of the screen later.
Cons: - Does not have the charging adapter. Cannot charge the ipod while playing. It should have it.- Hard to insert the cable in the ipod connector. Not sure why, but other adapters that i have fits really fine.- Sometimes my ipod doesn't recognize the cable. Get the PLEASE CONNECT YOUR VIDEO CABLE. Not sure why. Had to find a movie that will play and then go back to the one it didn't. Vey strange.
Other Thoughts: Not sure if it can be combined with a docking station so it can charge while using cable. But it would be cool to have a cable with the POWER charging capability.Now I'd like to see if i can somehow interface this cable with the docking station I bought for my 5.5G iPod..... maybe with a special connector?
Bottomline: Definetely will buy.... for video of course.. for audio any ipod cable with audio output should work. Was really missing the video output option since I upgraded my 5.5G 80 Gig Ipod to this 6G.
Pros: I was very happy with this cable. I have used it successfully with my iPod touch. I have also tried it with my buddy's iPhone and it also works fine (the description for the product says it doesn't...so ????)
Cons: The price is a little higher, but still much cheaper than the apple version ($60 bucks).
Other Thoughts: Totally worth it.No packaging so really isn't a gift type item
Bottomline: Worth it...just remember that the quality of the video that appears great on your iPod will kinda suck on your large TV. But you already know that right?
