Excellent BEC

Pros: Solid build.
 
Cons: You'll need plugs to solder on, booth on the the thre wires between the ESC to the motor, and between the ESC and the battery.
No instructions included, only instruction is on the webpage for the ESC.
 
Other Thoughts: I've used this setup:

Have some problems with this setup, the ESC cuts off power suddenly, but I suspect the the motor is a bit dodgy.
 
Bottomline: The ESC is excellent, but buy a good quality motor, then you will enjoy this ESC a lot.
 
					

Excelent brushless controller

Pros: I bought this for use with a Mystery 3000KV brushless motor to replace the original brushed motor in my Honey Bee King 2. It works exactly as it should and produces far less heat and therefore longer flight times.
 
Cons: Mine did not come with instructions so I had to resort to reading the necessary information from the photo on the product description page. All three motor wires are the same color so you have to determine motor spin direction by trial and error(not such a big deal).
 
Other Thoughts: Good combination when paired with the Mystery 3000KV brushless motor.
 
Bottomline: When compared to the cost of the Esky brushless motor upgrade kit, you can't go wrong.  Buy some banana connectors while you're at it.  You will need them.
