This is little desktop tripod has good build quality at a great price.
Most of the parts are built by metallic plastic materials which is enough and ideal for digital cameras. If you'd like to own a more solid version of this tripod, get the metal one or the flexible metal one.

Pros: I would say it's a very good buy for the price. It's cheap, can be easily put in a pocket and has extendable legs that allows you to raise the height to up to 7-inches.
Its compatible with most cameras since it uses a bolt for docking.

Cons: It's lightweight, which means it cannot withstand the weight of a camera if its a bit heavy. It couldn't hold my Canon A710IS and I had to hold the legs so that the camera wouldn't fall.
Material used is cheap.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: You can't complain for the price at which it is offered.

Pros: Good price
Legs can be extended, almost doubling the height.
Bolt pattern for most cameras
Very stable, Use the function of 2s to avoid shaking his hand while the camera
It worked well with my Canon SX210.
Very light and compact when disassembled. Fits in a pocket.

Cons: Material appears to be very fragile. Made of a very thin metal, it seems that can bend easily. The hinges of the legs seem very sensitive too.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: Despite the apparent fragility, the product still does the job. And with that price, even if it breaks, spare money to buy another.

Pros: The advantages I find are:
>> A very good product for the price.
>> The tripod legs are extendable.
>> Grab your camera with a thread, like any other tripod.
>> High enough for home situations.
>> Stable enough for compact cameras. (I have a Canon A1100IS and works well)
>> Quite adjustable to focus toward the sky, for example, to photograph the stars.

Cons: Cons:
>> Poor quality construction.
>> It is almost all made in plastic, it may break.

Bottomline: Conclusions:
In my case I have also another tripod legs which are flexible and this new one is the perfect complement, since it is rather stiff and I can focus on the sky with no problems.

Ownership verified by DX Great compact tripod

Pros: Small size, can easily fit into my camera bag, so I can carry it with me anytime.
Easy to use and setup.
Telescopic legs, so the size doubles.
Great for compact cameras.

Cons: Build quality isn't very good. I pushed one of the legs with little more pressure because I thought it's not in final position and broke the plastic construction, but tripod works fine still.
Can't hold bigger cameras. It can hold my Kodak Z512 in horizontal position, not in vertical.

Bottomline: Great product if you are looking for tripod to take always with you and you own just sime small camera. Price is awesome. Just be gentle on it and it should word good.
