Pros: I bought this as my first ever 18650 flashlight. I thought I'd just test the water by buying this light and then upgrade when it died... well, nearly two yeras later, living on my Keychain and being used everyday as a bike light in the rain and snow and Typhoons and sometimes being left on in the stock room and forgotten about and coming back to find a light that's to hot to touch and generally getting abused like a keychain light does.
The light is STILL going strong. Never missed a beat.
Incredible light for the money!

Cons: When I look at it, the glass in the front is not sealed and the soldering jobs look really cheap and nasty. BUT it has never affected the performance at all..
The only real "Con" I can think of is I'd like a much wider flood. That's it.

Other Thoughts: Excpected cheap and nasty...got a cheap product that works flawlessly and never says die!

Bottomline: Buy one.

Ownership verified by DX Good light, compact.

Pros: --Only 1 mode. I like single mode flashlights (On-Off)
--Good light, wider than other flashlights.
--White colour light.
--Very very small and compact. It´s amazing the size of this light.
--Doesn´t weight too much. This is important if you put it in a bike helmet.
--Lasts up to 3 hours.
--The tailcap glows in the dark.

Cons: --Not very good quality (weldings could be better)

Other Thoughts: --It came with the "CREE" logo located on the white backing board, so it seems the LED is a real Cree Q-5 (another review explains this).

Bottomline: --Great flashlight. Very good for mounting in a bike helmet. Compact and small. Wide and white light.

Pros: This is a very bright flashlight which is easy to use. I like, that this is a single-mode flashlight, because I didn't more modes... It a small and lightly flashlight. An evertime flashlight I think :) This works very well with SKU 05776. In my opinion this flashlight works very long with this battery. All pros at a glance:
- nice price
- small
- very bright
- easy to handle

Cons: The only thing I don't like is that the tailcap doesn't glow in the dark. :( But I don't find anything else I don't like.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: I think, this is a very good flashlight. I use this everytime I need one... I thing I will get one more of these flashlight because it's very cool :)

Pros: This is a great light for night riding on a mountain bike on single track when Trust Fire puts the proper Q5 emitters in the pill, then you get the full rated 230 lumens stated with good TrustFire 18650 3.7 V 2500mah batteries.

Cons: The last three I ordered on November 11th arrived and all three of them did NOT have Q5 emitters installed in them and were about 1/2 the stated amount of lumens advertised. This is no fault of Deal Extreme's, but of the Vendor, TrustFire.
True Q5 emitters from the lot I received from a mid October order all had white 16mm backing boards that the emitter was mounted to with the "CREE" logo located on the white backing board. If you receive a TR801 with a black backing board, please contact Deal Extreme about a replacement.

Other Thoughts: Absolutely a great light and value when built with the proper Cree Q5 230 lumen emitters. Nice flood beam, good transition from spot to wash and a great value. I'm waiting for Deal Extreme to make right on the 3 defective lights I received with a ship date of around 11-25-08. I'm hoping it was an isolated event.

Bottomline: Check your emitters, if they don't seem really blinding white bright or bluish and instead have a green tinge to them, or seem low in light, double check the emitters.
