These torches are very inexpensive and handy for various crafts and home projects. I didn't believe its capability until I saw copper wires being melt into droplets by the torch -- and it merely took a few seconds to do this. As this one outputs only one flame it, it does its job slightly slower than the other ones with two flames. However at its price it is an excellent torch to own. It also makes a handy alternative than pepper sprays as a body guard. You may also find it useful as a anti-wind lighter.

In addition, this torch (although cheaper) feature two locks: one for keeping the flame in place so you don't have to press and hold the button; the other one (the ring around the ignition button) for locking the ignition switch so you (or your children) won't accidentally light the torch.
.
This particular torch's build quality is only mediocre though. If you want to do more serious business like things other than lighting a candle or cigarrette, I'd highly recommend these other ones shown in the related parts section below. The other ones are fully constructed by metal materials and are much more solid than this plastic version, for only a couple dollars more. You won't regret on getting them too.
.
We have also been told that these torches are capable of softening glass so that you can use it to break small glass subjects like a glass tube into two.
.
The jet flame is very blue (meaning high temperature) as shown in the pictures so be careful not to burn yourself and anyone with it. A tankful of gas can easily last you an hour of burning. You can also use regular lights' butane refiller canisters to refill these torches.
Due to postal restrictions and safety reasons we ship these units with minimal amount of gas prefilled.

Cons: Um there isn't really any i would like them to be cheaper but i would say that about everything i buy An adjustable flame would be good? maybe.

-Has a nice cap with a chain attached, so you won't lose it.
-Very cheap lighter for that price!. I'm very pleased.

Cons: None that i can think of.

Other Thoughts: -Great for fireworks, lighting candles, making a fire, the uses of this lighter are unlimited!.

Bottomline: Get two or three of these to show your friends, they'll want one instantly!

Pros: Well, considering price it's extremely useful and build quality is acceptable.
Allows you to burn, melt, solder and evaporate many things.

Cons: While build of torch itself is quite good (including ceramic nozzle), accesories like stand and protective cap are far from "well made". But still, stand is still useful, and cap is useless anyway, so you get what you paid for - great torch.
Also, rubber used to make stand smells terribly, but you can easily remove it.

Bottomline: Its cheap, useful, pretty well made, and gives you wide possibilities of potential usages, varying from simply lighting a candle, to emergency soldering some wires in your car in the middle of a night.

Pros: It can melt glass or aluminum for example.
You can find the gas in local stores
Good size
Large gas canister
Does not use much gas
Cheap

Cons: Sometimes you need to push a few times before the gas lits

Other Thoughts: I bought a couple of these and they're awesome. I always have one on me, aspecially in the winter. If the lock of my car is frozen again, I hold my car key in the fire fox approx 30 seconds, then I hold the key in the lock for 30 seconds and tadaa, my lock works again ! Try it yourself :)
I also use it to lit fireworks, because the wind doesn't blow it out thtat easy and it goes trough all the plastic packaging so I don't have to remove it before use

Bottomline: Get one. It's cheap, handy and has a large gas canister so you won't have to refill it that often.
