Pros: I was very impressive to have such a great working product. I really really like this product. It works great with no problems at all. The FM Transmitter is very strong and clear! I am buying a second one for my friend.
Cons: I don't see a single problem.
Bottomline: The cable line of 3.5 mm jack is little longer than I needed, so I had to tape the longer part of the line to the back of the cradle set. I tested with my additional radio while the car was in the garage then the radio upstairs works fine with very clear sound. Amazing.
Pros: I love this device. It works great and it's very strong. I don't understand why some people are bashing this product. This is a very good product it plays well with my stereo. Is not flimsy and there is only one attached cable... it looks clean and doesn't get in the way.
Cons: I wish they had made the hand be able to play sideways easier. When you bend the arm it tends to go back to its original place..
Other Thoughts: This is a great item for any car stereo i've had it for a long time and it still works great. I only had one of the clips break on me, but it was totally my fault.
Bottomline: Bottom line? Great price i've seen similar items with a much higher price. Great signal to your car's stereo. The only thing that could be better is the arm memory.. when you bend it seems to try to go back to it's original straight side...
Pros: -Transmits over wide FM spectrum-Very decent sound quality-Much better build quality than I expected-Adjustable gooseneck as well as pivot on back of holder allow you to mount it in various positions-Easy to use
Cons: -I have had some cell interference noise, but not very often-Plays music through connector plug, but I have to plug it in via 3.5 cable to call hands-free-If your cigarette lighter isn't close to you while driving, it may be difficult for callers to hear your voice over hands-free. On the other hand, I drive an old truck which is fairly noisy, so if your vehicle is quieter it may not be a problem.-If you have a large case, your phone will be very snug in the holder. I have a 3GS in this case, (SKU 14478) and it just barely fits, but I don't have to worry about it falling out.
Other Thoughts: I bought this primarily to use on long trips to charge my phone while holding it up where I can see it for GPS, and I'm extremely pleased with it for that purpose. Short trips don't really justify the hassle of using it for me.I haven't had the problems other reviewers had with a loose fit in the lighter. Mine stays right where I put it, even if I mount it at an angle.
Bottomline: All in all, this is a much better product than I expected. I was very pleasantly surprised. I'd imagine there are better solutions out there, but not for such a low price.
Pros: Decent but not great FM tuner. Charges Ipod 3GS. Does not swivel in my socket. There is rubber ring around the 12v connector that makes it snug in my pt cruiser. Just fits between the shifter know and the dash. Can't see the screen when in 1, 3 or 5th gear. This thing is universal, so will play fm from any device with a headphone jack or line-out and will charge anything that can be charged by USB. Barely fits my Iphone with my protective shell/case.
Cons: Speakerphone is a total joke....does not work well at ALL! It mutes the music so you don't miss a call, but no one could hear me. Tested by calling my own vmail, could barely hear myself. If you turn on speakerphone it may be a bit better, but then the sound only comes thru the phone and not the car speakers.
Bottomline: Decent FM Tuner and will charge and hold your iPhone.
