Pros: Works on 12 VAC as well as 12VDC (so you can't connect it wrongly) Fits into 12V lights that accept halogen bulbs. Works (thats the important bit)
Cons: Legs a little on the thick side (needed some persuasion to fit in my lamp)
Other Thoughts: Could change the title of this item to show its more like 650mA than 350mA.
Bottomline: I used a Cree P4 with this to convert a desk lamp to LED. At this current the LED will need a good heat sink. I cut a disk of aluminium the same size as my lamps glass lens and mounted the LED on that, which fit nicely on to the lamp. Will be buying more.
Acceptable efficiency, test with 1-3 CREE P4

Pros: This is a great driver that drives leds with a constant current of +/-680mA. Although it says it can power only one led in serie, it can also power two and the current is the same, also the heat dissipation. I tried also three leds but with input voltage of 12.04 the curren't to the leds was only 540mA.. That may be higher if the input voltage was higher also (this is a guess, haven't tried).
Cons: Unfortunately it can not power three leds at 12V. Hey, but still, better than title says :-)
Other Thoughts: Efficiency with one cree P4 is 76%, with two is 82%. With three is 86% but the current is lower that it should be (540mA)
Bottomline: Still, it is better than description, so buy some of these!
