Pros: -This laser is REALLY bright!
-Uses AAA's, you can get them everywhere
-Works good with rechargeables.
-Beam is very visible, when it's foggy it looks like a lightsaber.
-You can point for miles.

Cons: -It will break if you drop it.
-You can hear the batteries if you shake it.
-Could have been built better.
-Clip is pretty useless.
-Illegal is most countries I think.

Other Thoughts: Don't point this at people or animals., it's really dangerous.

Bottomline: Really, really nice green laser. Get it!
You will be amazed and your friends will want too.

Pros: I don't really know what led me to buy this laser but it's just awesome as long as you take care. I can't belive 2 AAA batteries can produce so much light. I can point to stars, ships and masses of land arround my home and show people where they want to go. Had I use it once and drop it, I would still have been worth it.

Cons: Dangerous. Shine it on anybody's eyes and he/she might go blind. But that can also be said for a knife: stab someone and she/he might die.

Other Thoughts: If you are curious and have the common sense to hurt nobody, buy it.

Bottomline: I'd regret I hadn't buy it. I'm hammy I did.

Pros: -Price is good. Perhaps best of all the green lasers here.
-Seems tough enough, although I hear that the emitter might not survive what the casing would.
-Bright. When aimed in your direction you can clearly see the beam in indoor lighting conditions. Outdoors in overcast weather, it's just as visible from behind.
-Hot. Paint your nail black and you'll feel it after less than 2 seconds. I have no doubts that it could pop black/red balloons.
-comes in a nice black magnetically-shut case

Cons: -The part with the thread is glued in incorrectly, so the pen is slightly lopsided. The emitter is poorly aligned (beam comes out at an angle), too, but that's not a problem.
-Batteries are loose, rattle when you move the laser, causing flickering.
-10 metres away the spot (pear-shaped, in the literal meaning) is about 5cm*8cm. Beam is focused circa 21cm from the tip. Very low balloon popping distance.
-I must have damaged the emitter slightly by leaving it on for a over a minute while taking measurements, since it is no longer as bright as before. Got warm.

Other Thoughts: A divergence of 3-4mRad is bad, but it has a good side - safety. You won't harm anyone at greater distances. Also, it isn't noticeable to the person holding the pen.
Note that I am only reviewing my one unit, others may have different build quality and beam divergence.
- but emitter alignment and (on the "true" lasers) brightness are probably the same on all.

Bottomline: Great value for the price, as strong as I had expected it to be. You want a tracer to point out stars, directions or other things, this is excellent.

Pros: I already own a 20mW green laser, so I bought this 50mW one to have even a brighter one.
When you compare the 50 against the 20 on a wall, the green dot produced by the 50 laser is roughly twice the brightness and diameter.
Also during the day, a beam can be seen with the 50, while using the 20, this can be seen only at night.
Also to note is the switch - when clicked, you can feel a strong click, meaning the switch is very durable and not cheap.

Cons: VERY DANGEROUS! BE CAREFUL.

Other Thoughts: If you want something stronger than a 20mw laser, be sure to buy this one, as it's worth it for this price.

Bottomline: For this laser, bundled with box and batteries, it's a steal!
