As discussed at our forums, this laser does not come with an IR filter. So for safety you should wear protective glasses when using the pointer.

Too temperature-sensitive

Pros: - The beam looks powerful

- Cheap

- Comes with batteries

- Can pop baloons with black spots

Cons: If it is too cold, it is useless. It wont light up. Forget using it outside in the winter, it will work for 20s then fade out. I am really surprised how sensitive it is. It is also unreliable, often it wont give full power in room temperature until 30s later. I tried to put it in front of my car's heating fans, but it got too warm this time and emitted dim RED light.

Other Thoughts: Every time I take it out, I worry about it wont work. I do not trust it to work. Maybe I got unlucky with mine.

Bottomline: Good use for the summertime. Useless during the winter season.

Pros: AWESOME!!!

pops dark colored balloons, burns dark paper, burns skin.

can see it hit the clouds, perfect green bright line to the sky.

comes with an awesome case to protect the laser.

Cons: the black finish on the laser can scratch off easily, not a big deal but can bug some people.

Other Thoughts: be careful with it, i got mine before they stopped shipping to the US. it can blind people!

Bottomline: totally worth it! if you can get it you totally should. i have had tons of fun with it and it is great to show off to friends.

Pros: * Feels strong (not cheap)

* Long ranged laser (point can be seen at 2-3 km at night)

* Very high output (I cannot measure it, but beam it's lightly visible at daylight and perfectly visible at dark night even without fog)

* Comes with batteries

* GREAT PRICED sku.

I'm happy with it, I was searching a long-ranged laser that could be seen from km away in the night.

Cons: * Does not light a match.

* VERY DANGEROUS: Your eyes might hurt if you look directl into the dot, becouse there aint any IR filter or somethink like that.

* Batteries can dance. You can hear it if you shake the laser pointer.

* Mine doesn't pop balloons.

* Someone said "make dogs run ...". Really don't make dogs run. (at least mine)

Bottomline: Good buy at this price... I would prefer a focusable one, but at this price... this is simply great.

Recommended gadget.

+ feels good in the hand

+ very cheap

+ friends will love it

+ beam visible in dim light

+ fully legal in denmark

+ short shipping time

+ comes with good batteries

Cons: - not all lasers are in such good shape.

- bought 4 of them in my life, 2 of the lasers had a bended beam, and 1 of them had an output 15mw> x.

the last one was just fine.of course DX will give a new product if i asked for it, but i dont mind that much.

- my friends laser twisted around inside so the button dissapeared, but can easily be fixed.

Other Thoughts: you shouldnt point at animals or planes for not talking about humans etc. it can be very dangerous if pointed into the eye, and damage/hurt your eye, even just by looking at the dot when it is on a bright background.

Bottomline: great laser - cheap price - definetley a must have for laser freaks :)
