Ownership verified by DX What a great device - A genuine MSI BGP100!

Pros: Here are the pros (+):
+ Great response time, good for all games!
+ Easy installation after all
+ Feels quite nice in your hands (ergonomic even thought the picture tells you otherwise)
+ Cheap enough (I think that $30.51, wich I paid for it, was just cheap enough :)
+ L & R buttons + 4 directional buttons, 4 "normal" buttons A-B-C-D and a start key! In all, lots of keys!
+ Great for vNes and other gaming console emulators! I play Tetris with vNes using this gamepad.
+ Very nice, good packaging. I love the package in wich it came!

Cons: Here are the cons (-):
- The drivers CD did NOT contain a program for S60 3rd phones, so I had to google it. This really didn't matter, althought I was disappointed at first. The back of the box does not say anything about that, so I guess it isn't even promised to be compatible with those devices.
- Overall build quality is fine enough in my opinion, but the directional buttons could have been a little better. The right directional button is working great, I mean that it gives just normal feedback (for your fingers). But the rest of the buttons don't (hard to explain). They don't just get pressed properly, but they still do work! So that's not big con after all.
- If your device doesn't support pressing many buttons at once, this gamepad doesn't let you do so either. This is also really not a big con.
- There isn't an option to turn it into a normal looking and feeling Playstation controller, so you really have to put your phone in the middle, otherwise it is unergonomical as hell.

Other Thoughts: My other thoughts on this:
* As I already said before, the drivers CD doesn't include a driver for S60 3rd edition devices. I had to google for it. If you want to use it with S60 3rd devices, download this package: http://www.gdbint.com.au/downloads/drivers/BGP100_v1502_Games_Included.zip [DX please do NOT remove the link, it might help some people]. That .zip package also includes some DEMO games, so be patient while it downloads (it is fairly big, over 60MB).
* I am using Nokia N96 with firmware v11. So all of my experiences you have just read are based on using this gamepad with that phone.
* If you are a finn, you might be interested in my blog (I have also written an article about this device in my blog!). Here is my blog's address: http://www.jupstejuho.tk. So it is written in 100% Finnish, don't bother going there if you don't speak that language!

Bottomline: This is my bottomline:
[] Overall this is a great device. It lets you play games comfortably using programs like vNes (S60 3rd NES emulator!) and Nokia NGAGE. Despite what the picture might tell you, playing mobile games using this is 1000x more ergonomical than playing those games with your phone's ordinary joystick and numerical buttons. Build quality is fine enough, and so is the price. If you read this review get some help deciding on wether to buy it or not, just buy it! But, of course, only if you need this! Buy this if you often play games with your mobile phone, and sometimes think "oh s**t how f****ng unergonomical, uncomfortable and annoying it's to play with these stupid phone keys". :D And for the first time in my life I say this, THANKS YOU, THANKS A LOT DealExtreme DX. I'll sure do shopping with you again, ASAP!

Ownership verified by DX I think it a good gamepad but in my device....

Price: starstarstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: -Good weight.
-It feels comfortable in your hands
-it work in Windows XP and even Palm
i love the package with it cames XD

Cons: -Drain too fast the battery of the gamepad.
-i really think that if the gamepad drop for a one meter it brokes

Other Thoughts: I have a Dell Axim X51v, and after i install the drivers and conect the devices, the aplication that control the gamepad required too much of the CPU usage in my case when i press 2 bottons simultany it can go to 69%, and when i play game boy color its feels a like slowy.

Bottomline: I think the slowy its for my device , because the Qualcomm processor much have better perfomance than the Xscale.

Ownership verified by DX Exactly what I needed, great gamepad

Pros: Very responsive and fast which is a must for certain games.
Long battery life with just one AAA battery.
Supports all Windows Mobile 5 & 6 phones as well as others.
Good build quality
Can also connect to your computer.

Cons: None, Although a build in rechargeable battery would be nice but asking too much =)

Other Thoughts: I use it with my Daxian WM6 phone (sku.11073). Works perfectly and allows me to play Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, my Nintendo roms and much more.

Bottomline: Get this gamepad if you have a Windows Mobile phone, You can install so many great games.
