Pros: -Looks just like the actual shell.
-The pieces fit together properly.
-The freebies (really does come with what's shown in the pictures).
-If you use the included screws (all phillips) you won't need to use the trigram screwdriver to open the DS anymore.
Cons: -The screws that are included aren't all the same size as the original ones.
-The slit for sliding the upper part's ribbon cable through was small but is easily widened with repeated screwdriver jabs.
-The material is kind of soft and easy to scratch up.
Other Thoughts: -The free stylus is nice because they disappear all the time.
-The slot 2 cover is kind of tight but at least that means it won't fall out.
-The battery's area is tighter than the old shell.
-It comes with replacement buttons but no replacement button pads.
Bottomline: It does it's job as a replacement shell and turned out a lot better than I expected. I would recommend this to anybody that needs a replacement or wants a cool looking shell.

Pros: This was needed to repair a heavily used official Pokemon Version DS. The look and feel is very close to original and considering the price was an excellent bargain to fully renew a DS. I also had to replace the shoulder switches while I was in there and picked those up here too. Upper screen cover is included to make everything but the touchscreen look brand new.
Cons: As another reviewer stated, the slot for the upper flat ribbon cable to slide through for the top panel was a little tight. Please look for videos on youtube on how to do this procedure. Take your time. If you are not very mechanically inclined then get a friend to do it for you. Considering you get a new top screen cover it seems a little odd that you don't get a new digitizer screen considering the price of the digitizer on DX is under $5. I assume that may be because it might be easier to break that screen than the upper.
Other Thoughts: It was one heck of a ride. Overall it took 6 hours to complete the entire case swap and solder new shoulder buttons and fix some mangled battery contacts. The pokemon characters on the top are not as "Glittery" as the originals, but it still looks very nice and to me, was an excellent purchase as the DS is fully restored. The plastic that covers the hinge is what broke originally and I could have just used the inside top lid and keep the original POKEMON top lid. If you are having trouble seating the bottom two parts, make sure the white antenna wire is out of the way. I could not get my wire to go back to the original spot so it was getting in the way a bit. Take your time and don't force anything too hard.
Bottomline: I took a heavily used and abused DS and spent around $25 here at DX to get a new shell, trigram screwdriver, and shoulder buttons and made it look like a brand new DS. The flat ribbon cable was tough, but I am used to working on laptops so I was kind of prepared. This was my first adventure into handheld gaming rebuilding and was very rewarding. Funny though, it wasn't mine or my kids, it was a friend of my son's DS and his parents just bought him a new one the day after they gave me the money to fix his. So now he has one to give his little brother. All of the parts work with the original DS parts so you could just replace what you need and keep the rest for a rainy day.
Not so great

Pros: Looks just like the original.
Includes almost everything.
The picture at the front panel is not a sticker.
Cons: Not the best quality.
I broke my upper screens wire because the hole for it was too small.
The big parts that are around the upper screeen don't combine well. You have to use much force and still they aren't perfect.
Other Thoughts: Before you try to install these parts compare them with your original DS parts.
If any hole is smaller that in the original try to cut it bigger. I actually broke my DS because I tried to push upper screens wire with force.
Bottomline: It's pretty much luck that how good parts you get.
If you have money to waste I would recommend you to buy official parts instead of these copies.
But still if you have skill and are patient these parts will be just fine.
make sure you know what you are doing

Pros: Looks just like the limited edition Pokemon DS case.
Comes with all of the parts necessary to replace you existing case including screws
Cons: Case doesn't close flush.
A lot of small parts to work with.
Screen colors don't match. You will have one black screen and 1 white screen.
Other Thoughts: Don't buy and use unless you really know what you are doing and have a lot of patiecne in working with really small parts.
Bottomline: It took me 6 hours to get this thing together and working. I had to replug the screen cable in several times to get it working right. There is a video on youtube on how to take the DS apart. I would suggest watching it before you dive into this project.
After about a month, my screen gave out and stopped working. The good thing is is that I bought a real Pokemon DS and swapped it out with this one. The person at the store didn't know the difference.
