3/28/2006 Staff wrote:Picture quality on these webcams are fine when there is enough light, but the images will get noisy during the night time (just like other webcams with CMOS/CCD sensors). Frame rate on the 1280*960 resolution at 1.3 mega pixel will drop to about 15fps on a 2.0Ghz CPU desktop. In addition, the "face hunting" feature allows you to zoom into people's face automatically.
Pros: If you ignore the claim of 1.3MP, this is a decent webcam, especially so considering the price. It looks nice (shiny is always good), the clip is strong, the cable appears to be strong, the light brightness dial works, video quality is reasonable. LED bulbs are quite bright.
Cons: Should probably have some more support about this fabled 1.3MP ability. Cable is a little short (had to use an extension cable to connect), especially if your desktop tower is below the desk and the webcam is mounted above your monitor.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Pretend the 1.3 is actually 0.3, and enjoy the use of a cheap, decent webcam of good build quality.
Pros: Great Price.Stand Clip.Leds with adjustable intensity.Well Done.Long Cable.
Cons: Poor Quality of the Image. The camera has a red permanent stripe on the image.Besides the fact that the camera should have a high resolution (1,3 MP), I wasnt able to get more than .3MP (640x480)
Other Thoughts: Should have a better Quality Control to avoid simple disfunctions on the image.
Bottomline: Bad quality of the image, but good price. I bought it for survellance use and its being usefull for that purpose.
Pros: The Price is the best reason to buy this camera. Hardlyever a webcam can be found for this price.
Cons: When I first looked this advertisement it was showing that the webcam had a built-in microphone but that's no true. The CD that comes with the package is not in English. The file name on the CD contains invalid characters (something like "?????PAC207 V10411 071012.exe") and to properly install it the software needs to be renamed without the invalid characters.Image quality is far away to be a 1.3Mp camera.

Bottomline: no comments

Cons: I still cannot find the driver to work on yahoo, will not recognise it on messanger just get a black pic. If any one can help me my email is ******
Other Thoughts: nice and good make quality light work fine but have to control it manually,
