Pros: great to repair or revamp a dslite

Cons: fiddley to change but otherwise no faults in the product i can find so far .

Other Thoughts: great if you need a revamp for your dslite,i got a broken dslite given to me which was droped so i ordered this case for my son which when it arrived i was more than impressed with the build quality and finish ,altho a scary thought of replacing the shell i just looked on youtube and followed a video (only showing dismantling process) i sat at the pc and within 1hr 30 mins i was almost done , with some tricky wires and flat cable in the hindge all went well for my FIRST TIME doing anything like this so im a complete beginer to this type of fiddley work ,take care replacing the back final cover as you have to line up the power and volume buttons before presing the shell closed ,the shell comes with all you need including new screen surrounds for the top screen i had a look but didnt fancy trying to split it to change from a white surround to a matching black that came with the shell ,i now have black inside whith white screen surrounds which to be honest doesnt lok that bad ,,,pics will follow.

Bottomline: great product for the money to update ,revamp or repair the dslite provided you take your time you should be able to replace this no probs withe the screwdrivers needed which i also got here ,this was my first ever order from deal extreme and at present im looking a new shell for the old broken nds we have at home here so all in all a great place to order from giving a quality service providing great products .

Cons: -screw holes NOT THE SIZE OF THE SCREWS, take a screwdriver and drill in until they get wide enough
-a few tiny air bubbles on the top lid
-the rest of the case is matte

Other Thoughts: BE CAREFUL WITH THE RIBBON CABLES. That's all I have to say. The lower screen is closest to its slot, but replacing the case involves taking OUT the top screen. Its ribbon cable goes THROUGH one of the hinges and is WIDER than the tube's diameter. You WILL have to twist on it and might break it. The touchscreen nibbon cable is VERY small and easily tares outta the slot under the PCB's own weight.

Bottomline: All in all it looks exactly as desired, but if ya wananassemble it you'll have ta work hard for it. Before even trying the case on widen the screwholes until all screws work with it. Pay extreme care to the ribbon cables especially the top screen one or you'll end up breaking them like I did.
