Pros: OMFG! That's the word i'm gonna use for this flashlight..
it is EXCELLENT!!!! The best flashlight I have ever used (not including the Spotlights). I can iluminate a house almost a kilometer away from my house!!! it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Incredible! Well I don't know if it is a kilometer but it is A LOT! You'll not regret!
Cons: The only thing it happened to me is that the battery I purchased here (the 123 type) did not fit in the flashlight, so I use a little piece of metal to fit the battery and now it works OK.
Other Thoughts: Just repair that glitch and lower the price to 9.99 and I'll buy 5 more "just in case" haha
PERFECT FOR A GIFT! If you include a nano charger and a battery
Bottomline: Buy it, you'll nor regret, I promise!
Very happy with this light

Pros: very bright
zoom works well
takes rcr123
Cons: could maybe be a little cheaper
a little thermal paste on the emitter star would help heat dissipation
Other Thoughts: This light is noticeably brighter with a rcr123 battery. It is ok with a 3v primary but with a rechargeable it is much brighter.
I really like this flashlight. The flood to throw works great. It will shine an image of the emitter on the wall when "zoomed"
Bottomline: It is a great light especially if you have rcr123 batteries.
I really like it and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
Never thought a light could be this good.

Pros: Unlike my favorite and trusted mag light, many newer LCD lights do not have a flood to throw feature. This light blows any mag out of the water! It will light up a whole tree sitting in front of you or shine 1/4 mile away at someone. The first high powered LED I can use while working on my car. Most are too bright to see what I'm doing.
Cons: Seems a little loose on the slide mechanism. You can open it up and bend out the metal ring to make the slide function more stiff.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: If you are not turned off by the price, but this. You will not be disappointed.
amazing concept

Pros: the flood to spot is amazing. It out throws the cree "superthrower" . The only thing it doesn't compete with is an aspheric mag with a cree Q5. The larger 52mm aspheric lens projects a much smaller cree die, which in turn makes a tighter and more intense beam.
Cons: Upon disassembly I came to find a star simply sitting in the light with no thermal paste. It is held down by an aluminum ring with a peace of plastic. This means it is poorly heat sinked, which is obvious when you run the light for an hour straight and it doesn't even get warm.
Other Thoughts: I have fully disassembled it. To take apart the top, just unscrew the ring around the very top of the bezel. It was glued, but very weakly glued to say the least.
Run time is about 45 mins until a protected 123a drops to 3V and brightness greatly diminishes
It is brighter than the 3AAA variant of the light, yet I do not know why as both lights are directly driven from very similar voltage.
Bottomline: Despite poor heat sinking, its brilliant.
