Flawed but good enough

Pros: docks 3g
cheaper than apple's dock
can work with phones that have cases-- maybe
amber light wont hurt your eyes in dark as much as a blue light would
 
Cons: couldnt get video output to work, only audio
kinda inelegant compared to apple's dock
have to push no on flight mode every time put it on dock
 
Other Thoughts: good dock, only connects to laptop. well, its good enough, not great. the video out wouldnt work with my tv's but it might just be my tv and plus i had no remote. it worked for other ppl in their reviews though
 
Bottomline: if you want a dock for $20 instead of $30 get this one

Pros: - Comes with USB cable
- Comes with video out cable
- It's fairly cheap compared to the official cradles,
-Lets you put in the phone with sleeve around it.
 
Cons: - The outer material used in the dock was scratched at delivery, so no glossy shine,
- The led indicator has only one color/function, when it, s powered on it's orange...why not a green or blue one...missed opportunity..
- Al cables are black, except the video out.
- The IPhone 3G gives a notice" this device is not suitable for the IPhone, would you like to use flightmode to get rid of any sound problems"
 
Other Thoughts: Not the best package, there's no remote, the led is useless.
Nevertheless it works fine as far as I can tell.
 
Bottomline: For this price, it's worth to buy and have that extra place to load and sync your IPhone 3G without having to connect and disconnect the original usb/power adapter all the time.
 
					

Works Great with iPhone 3G

Pros: Works great with Iphone 3G, as advertised.
I tested:
Outputting a Movie to TV.
Syncing with a computer (USB).
It even lets me keep my silicone protective sleeve on the iPhone.
 
Cons: When I first plugged in my iPhone, I got some message that said something like, "This product is incompatible, do you want to keep using it?" I have not seen that message since. And, clearly it has not effected my usage.
Would be nice if it came with a power converter for USB, as I don't have a USB port near my Television. But that's easily remedied with an attachment.
 
Other Thoughts: I watched an entire movie outputted to an LG HD TV. So there's no worry that it flakes out.
 
Bottomline: Buy it for your iPhone 3G, it's feature packed and works great.
