Ownership verified by DX Good Flashlight

Involvement: Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month

Price: starstarstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstarstar

Pros: Very bright, similar brightness of my Fenix P3D, but more than half the price.
Assault Bezel what I am looking for, it is really sharp.

Cons: Built quality not 100%:
The Driver circuit come loose after 2-3 times drop, can be easily solder back, sandpaper/file the brass/copper body, then solder the driver PCB.
The smooth ring was broken when I received it, but can be repair with a super-glue.
SOS mode is actually SOSOSOSOSOSO not SOS SOS SOS

Other Thoughts: You can run very long with 18650, I tested strobe mode, more than 4 hours and it is still blinking before I charge it (not protected), so it could strobe of maybe 6-7 hours with my 8 years 18650 taken out from HP Jonarda PDA.

Bottomline: It works and very bright to keep as a light in your car.
As your safety strobe for car parking on the round site.

Ownership verified by DX Lights Pretty good.

Pros: Light is pretty bright and has a really good feel.

Cons: Mine was missing a o-ring in the lens area. The darn thing rattled like a baby rattle it was so bad. I had to take it apart and make a half-azz o-ring that I'm not happy with at all. If it were not for it missing the o-ring I'd probably buy another one.
Memory feature is also very bad (see below)

Other Thoughts: I hate the memory feature! If you turn it off and right back on again, it goes to the next mode. In my job I do alot of "on-off" lighting. If you don't let this one set for about a minute before turning it back on, it will go to the next mode. Nothing like being on a traffic stop using this light as a backup and fumbling with trying to get it back on the mode I wanted!

Bottomline: Its a OK light

Price: starstarstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstarstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstarstar

Pros: Very bright
Good throw with a nice flood - not "ringy"
Well-built
Came lightly lubed
All threads are tight
Well-balanced
Coating is smooth
Tail stands
Solid reverse-clicky switch
Entire unit is easily disassembled - easily upgraded/repaired

Cons: Small scratch on unit - no bare metal so must have been there before coating.
Did not tail stand well when unit was received. Disassembled switch assembly - switch was torqued into tailcap too far and boot was pushed too far into tailcap.
Lens retaining ring is plastic - would have preferred metal ring made of same material as flashlight body.
Clip is painted - not coated like flashlight body - easily scratched.
Would have liked crenelated bezel better if it were black instead of silver.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: For the money, this is a good buy. QC could have been better, but issues were easily remedied. Solid work light - a welcome addition to my collection. Have recommended to others.

Ownership verified by DX decent light

Price: starstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: Good light, nice throw, not totally impressed.

Cons: This was my first ultrafire light, and im not really impressed, looks like a used light, large nicks and cuts in the tube, deep gashes into the coating and into the aluminum, quality control definitely not there, the glass was dirty and poorly cut, looks like someone tried to shape the lense with a file and is very oddly shaped, definitely not a perfect disc, a lot of nasty tinting on glass. will not hold water, im sure of it. The plastic ring bezel came broken into two pieces. Will not buy ultrafire again.

Other Thoughts: Not a fenix that's for sure, I guess you do really get what u pay for.

Bottomline: Not remarkable, but another must have light.
