Pros: Compact! No need for extra cables hanging everywhere to make Skype calls.
It fit very nicely onto my PSP2000, and the white color didn't look too bad with my silver model.

Cons: The mic sensitivity wasn't very good. At least not compared to Sony's headset mic. I had to be a lot closer and talk a lot louder than I was used to in order for the person on the other end to hear me.
Also, the volume of the built-in speaker was pretty weak too.
!!!MAJOR PROBLEM!!! was the constant echo for the person on the receiving end. The mic was picking up everything the speaker was outputting. That pretty much made this un-usable for me.

Other Thoughts: Would've been OK if the mic didn't pic up the speaker output. The addition of a headphone jack probably would've eliminated this issue.
I tried to modify mine by removing the headphone plug from the unit (so the PSP's speakers would work with this plugged in), but then it wouldn't work at all. Apparently, the PSP requires something in the headphone jack in order for the microphone circuit to work. ???

Bottomline: While it is a great idea, the implementation was kind of lacking. I guess if I want to use Skype on my PSP without cables, I should just get the PSP3000 model with the built-in mic.

Pros: - Very simple installation!! You only put it down under to the console and thats all - completely.
- The console can be loaded with cultivated telephone. That is very cool!!
- The volume keys of the console regulate the volume of the telephone.
- The PSP 2000/Slim is heldby the ear during telephoning like a telephone.

Cons: No Cons!!!!!

Other Thoughts: - After config the software you will able to telepone with all your people all over the world.

Bottomline: The probably best accessories for the PSP2000 which is offered here. A very good purchase. You will not repent it - never!!

Pros: For those who have a pay Skype in/out plan, Skype credit, or simply want to talk to other registered Skype users for free, this is MUCH more cost effective than the combination of buying a Sony brand Slim PSP remote and microphone headset. The volume is nice on the earpiece and the sound on the microphone is clear from the tests I ran. Skype is one of the most under-rated free features on the PSP, and this makes the experience much more cellphone-like (or side-talkin'-esque like the 1st version of the N-Gage! LOL!)

Cons: While it has a pass-through port for charging, it does not have one for a headphone jack. Not that big of a deal I suppose, but it would have been nice if they could have worked that in. Also, there's no silver model, just black or white. Again, these are VERY small gripes.

Other Thoughts: For less than $10, turn your PSP into a Wi-Fi phone! Forget about having to muck around with dangly wires or silly ear-pieces. If you have Skype, a PSP, and a Wi-Fi connection, there's no reason not to own this.

Bottomline: What, did you just skip down to this section? Didn't you read the rest of my review? You should buy this thing if you ever plan on using Skype on your slim PSP!

Pros: I bought it and tested in the same day with a friend of mine. Our internet connection is good, skype always worked fine and the same happenned with PSP, It does its job, but... (see Cons)

Cons: It should have a way to use an external earphone... I felt like using a Nokia N-Gage! But it only works when there's wi-fi internet access.
And my friend said that he hears his own voice when I'm using this accessory. And also the voice is cuted at the end of every phrase... it's something with the accessory, because at the PC everything was normal...

Other Thoughts: I don't know if it worths for the price... the good think is I'm able to talk to my Skype friends without being near the PC...

Bottomline: It's just regular!
