Pros: The build quality on this torch is outstanding. Its fully water proof, solid as the rock and operates flawlessly. The torch puts out a lot of power and is perfect for the outdoors. Focus head makes the torch so much more versatile. Takes AAs which are available anywhere.

Cons: With only single mode it can be a bit bright for some close up jobs but you can adjust the focus which spreads the light out. That also means you cant save battery life when you don't need 109 lumens. With a smooth reflector the beam isn't the prettiest.

Other Thoughts: The adjustable focus head is really useful, I don't know why more torches don't have it. The rubber switch boot developed a hole after a couple of months but I replaced it with the included spare one. Some anti-scuff moly paste (or similar) on the focus head threads makes it ultra smooth. I found quality NiMH batteries the best and give at least 3 hours runtime.

Bottomline: Great general purpose torch, no fuss, simple to use. Focus head almost makes up for not having modes. Fantastic value for money.

Pros: Very powerful LED flashlight with modern element. Stay bright until the full zero. Two AA batteries would be enough for one night. It's brand, not a cheap Chinese stuff, so it worth the money.

Cons: Only one mode, too bright for some situations. I use it for checking long distance targets.

Other Thoughts: I recommend this flashlight as additional tool for people who has no wish spending additional 30 dollars on buying multi-mode flashlight or do not trust such flashlights.
Great tool for every night workers and perhaps travelers.

Bottomline: Great thing to invest your money. Everyone would forget what did they came to the forest for after such flashlight turned on.
