Pros: First of all, I have to admire DX´s service and shipping. It took only 6 days from HK post office to my home in Slovakia!
So tripod´s pros..
-its light
-very nice shape
-I like black finnish
-high quality carrying bag, which allows you to adjust belt, so you can carry tripod on your back
-small useful tool fir adjusting/tightening screws is included
-comes safely packed in carton box with free EMS shipping
Cons: Absloutely NONE!!!!
Other Thoughts: When this one arrived to me, I immediately tested it with my Pentax K20 and Sears 80-200mm manual lens. Absolutely no problem even in windy ammbient. I found what I was looking for-cheap and good portable tripod.
Bottomline: I had already returned my MANFROTTO 785B MODO, which was lower in height and not so sturdy.
Good copy of manfrotto tripod

Pros: Very good tripod, solid build and very light. Fast camera lock/unlock system compatible with manfrotto. It has a carry on bag of good quality cordura/like
Cons: Just less solid then manfrotto, but it does it's job very well and for a tenth of the price. The zip of the bag was not tailored correctly then it close only from bottom to top and not vice-versa as its supposed to be.
Other Thoughts: The build quality and the attention to the details is quite good, it's perfect for a beginner, even a professional may consider it because of its weight.
Bottomline: I recommend to buy for a beginner who cares of being serious or a professional who wants a light tripod
Nice copy, but not as tough as the original.

Pros: Cheap.
Lot of professional photo features.
Nice finish.
Light weight (1.8kg).
Was able to take some abuse.
Quick release plate compatible with Manfrotto.
Cons: Leg angle adjustment in on leg broke after abuse.
Raising centre column gave some flex.
Not as slick nor sturdy as original Manfrotto, it is only a visual copy.
Spirit level not level at all.
1.5 meter is a bit too low for me.
Other Thoughts: With a ball head it is not for video use.
Legs can have three different angles, but when parallell to the ground the weak adjustment levers may break if abused.
Since raising centre column will increase flex I am tempted to cut it, as it interferes with ground shots.
I may end up giving it away, as I can't use more than one tripod at the same time.
Bottomline: I trust my original Manfrotto, but will probably always be a bit insecure with this.
Great value for money, but buy the original if you need it and can afford it.
